# The naming of A314

I was wondering. What is the ‘314’ about? The ‘A’ most definately stands for Alpha. But the 314, were there 312, 313 etc…? Wil there ever be a 315?

I’m not exactly sure, but it could be that the year 314 AD was the year that Zhi Dun, Chinese buddhist monk and philosopher was born, and widely considered to the world’s first recognized alpha male.

I defer to the others to either accept or refute my hypothesis.

I don’t think there have been 312,313 etc.. and don’t think there will be a 315 either. Just new revisions of the 314.

The official name for it is Alpha A314 - not Alpha 314.

You guys are good detectives and pretty smart. I like the figuring out by 314AD. You guys are Batman-level.
