The OFFICIAL MX425 Discussion Thread

I waited for a few days to test this out as I was holed up in my office all week and who wants to know what the results are on just me, right? Yeah, no one.

Anyway, The first time I tried this was on a day that I knew I would be unchained from my desk. I waited until just before coming into the building to spray it on and didn’t notice anything at first, but the smell. It smelled kind on like cinnamon. It isn’t a smell that I care for, but what the heck, it’s an experiment, right?

After about 10 minutes, I went in search of a file and noticed people sort of watching me walk by. I am used to second glances, but not usually from those in my employ. It’s usually just the standard “hey boss” sort of thing, but not this time.

Below are my “official” findings. I hope it helps.

Strength
I didn’t feel that it effected me at all, but I didn’t care for the cinnamon smell… I like flowery smells (it’s a girly, girl thing). The effect on others was definitely strong.

Length of Effects
Onset - 5 to 10 minutes
Outset - 4 hours
Peak - 2 hours
Wane - 3 1/2 to 4 hours

Tenacity
It seemed to last about 3 1/2 hours (ish).

Effectiveness
This mix has been consistently effective. I’m not sure what effects you were looking for, but every time I wear this, people go out of their way to help me or give me things.

Example 1. I had a man walk across a parking lot, back to the building he had just left, to open a door for me (he was downwind).

Example 2. I was granted free entrance to a local community concert event (a $20 ticket was required).

Example 3. The manager of a restaurant near this same event gave me free appetizers (the waitress said that she had worked there for 4 years and that he NEVER did that!).

Example 4. Two gentlemen that I work with nearly fell over themselves trying to serve me lunch (others in the room, who had to make their own lunch, noted the fawning behavior with humor).

Diffusion/Silage
WOW! That’s a tough one! I would tend to say that in close quarters, about 5 feet. But outside… How ever far the wind blows! I was at least 150 feet from the guy in the parking lot and at least 20 feet from the guy at the ticket gate. As for people following my trail, I’d have to say that I don’t think they did… I did notice people collecting where I had been.

I have noticed that men of color are more likely to follow the trail, even to linger where I’d been. I’m still testing… when I’m not chained to the desk.
