Well, thanks - I do appreciate it. My H has know me a long time. He knows what he is losing. He is letting it go. He knows that too. At some point I still think he should have said: “Hey stop acting like you are single already - and spend time with me!” Not gonna happen. He is too heavily involved in his job and hobbies to be a husband or father. There are tons of men like that. Making money is a double-edged sword. He wanted to make a certain amount by a certain age. Here he is. But at what cost? No personality, no friends, and no closeness with his family. For some, material things are more important. You cant be on call 24/7 for 10 years and not expect it will take its toll. So yea, Ive got my big toe in the water… Nobody has told me yet that I cant go swimming… Didnt lose 50lb for nuthin! Now, where is that MX282 ??? ---

The trouble was I believe her purse matched her shoulder and was softer than her shoulder.😮 I am sorry that is way to much sun worship. Me I have two colors white or red. ---

Yea, there are lots of women my age who were sun worshippers. My SIL being one. Her skin would make a great saddle. Being British, i have a very fair complexion (boring strawberry hair, blue eyes, etc) - and have not started to wrinkle yet- thank god. i am more worried about freckles! Mink Oil! LOL. I love your sense of humor! I shall buy some for my SIL. ---

Totally off topic. Totally the ramblings of a madwoman - on a weird combo of pheros here… So we have a pte. Female, 25, married w/ little kids. Uses a walker. Severe injuries post MVA. Her husband looks to be 15-20 years older. Anyway. He was sooooooooooooo sweet to her. So solicitous and loving. I really wanted to cry! Geez, THAT is what i am looking for. I had some health issues years ago. I was terrified. I really wanted H to go with me. He would not. He got too stressed leaving his office and worrying about whether he would get back on time or not. The whole thing was so traumatic, (possibility of breast cancer on both sides, multiple Dr visits, the hosp lost the x-rays etc, biopsies etc etc) I have not been back to the DR since!!! Are there other nice men out there like this patient’s husband? Or did she get the only one? ---

Well, I was married twice and anytime either of my exes had to see a doctor I was there with them, which was actually quite a bit. My first wife had acute Asthma and my second wife was born with Hydrocephalus and had been through many brain surgeries early in her early years, to install shunts, tubing and replacing defective implants. As such, anytime she had any kind of medical issue a trip to the Neurosurgeon was involved as well. So yeah, there are others out there like your patients hubby! 😉 And, you’re welcome for the cheerup! ---

No - there are lots out there - I have done the same with my wife like he and Mark have done - I even sat in on a couple appts when she wanted moral support right there in the exam room. Plus my wife does not like to drive - especially at night - so I will drive her where-ever or go take care of it for her. Once you get rid of this one you ought to be able to find a decent one out there … just take your time looking. ---
