I am sitting in the bar, as it is currently raining out. It always amazes me why everyone in the pool runs for cover when it starts raining. I mean what are they afraid of getting wet?! Me, well I am a little burnt from yesterday. Not burned as in Lobster, not even red at all, but I only brought SPF15 and two days in a row would burn me, so I opted to sit and drink Margarita right here and be Happy, especially that. I think some people could use Happy lessons šŸ˜‰ Anyway this ā€œrobustā€ Mexican woman comes over to where I am sitting with her baby daughter. Cute kid of about 2 ish. I say hola and she says in a shocked way. I cant believe its you. SteveO starts thinking like hmm, just how drunk have I been these last few days? There is just no way I even remember this woman as clearly if I threw a near babe out of bed, I could never have been that innebriated to even consider her for anything. Hereā€™s the real SHOCKER: she tells me after two years you decide to come back and take care of your responsibillty and she is being loud. People are looking. Well according to her Oscar winning performance her I am the babies daddy. Two years ago when I was here at this hotel we had sexual relations and daughter is a result. People all around are looking and I decide to feed it a little by saying two years ago, in this hotel? Yes two years ago in this hotel. Thatā€™s amazing since this is my first time I have ever been to Cancun. People at bar are laughing, this must be Mexicano Candid Camera. Nope wasnā€™t a joke and she was damn insistant until bar tender started yelling at her to get out. She quickly changed her story to say she needed Pesoā€™s to support her baby after father ran off to US. LOL, this is a crazy week so far. A314 has had some very strange reactions on Mexicans so far. I think they all believe Iā€™m super wealthy, when nothing could be further from the truth.šŸ˜› ---

Wow Steve that is awful. How did you deal with this after she left. I bet she was really quite when she told you the truth? I hope the rest of your vacation goes better then this. Yikes ---

Yikes Ahh, nothing 16 shots of Banana flavored Tequila didnā€™t cure. Not to mention I had the whole bar laughing. They did Karaoke last night, but I decided to sing Albert Collinsā€™ blues song. You know the one from Adventures in Babysitting. I was a big hit as I told my story. I won a T-shirt šŸ™‚. Then a land developer from the UK and I got talking over margaritas, and I still havenā€™t figured out if he was really drunk, crazy or super serious, but we talked for hours and hours about the state of the worlds economies and how opportunity is everywhere. Some friends and I walked the midway at the local fair, some guy walked up and called me ā€œAlonzoā€ (midnight run joke, at the time my friends were calling me Alonzo Mosley) So I played along, apparently the guy was a scammer picking up on names, trying to get people to play games that were rigged, (he was working for one of the games) he said he knew me from church camp or summer camp, and to check out the knife he just won playing the ring toss. I played along looking at the cheap lock blade, said it was ok, but I had a nicer one, (pulling out a bone handled springer) That shut him up. and we walked on. The trick was I had seen him talking to the person running the game earlier that day. When my buddies and I walked past and one of them called me by my nickname. To be a good grifter you have to be observent, and the trick is likeable, maybe they need more instant shine? ---

So if the lightning strikes the surface of the pool, thatā€™s _really_ going to hurt. So the lifeguards force everyone out right away, due to safety regulations. But anyway, in Dominican Republic, they donā€™t force people out of the pool when rain starts, so I got to swim in the rain when I was vacationing there. It was really fun to try something I wonā€™t get to do in the uptight US.
