Doesn’t seem to be. I must be getting some placebo effect here.

Got a free sample of ammo with first order of instant shine. Almost threw it out because it was wedged deep into the delivery envelope. Thought I could detect some behavioral variations in my new co-workers in presence of IS, but am new to this. Saturday, put 2x sprays [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) on.

An hour later I happen to be in local noodle shop picking up some takeout. Just plain strange behavior on the part of female patrons and staff, like their parameters for personal space were blown all to hell. Female patron, also waiting for her takeout, got way too close to me. Not that she was all that bad looking, I just wanted to test and gauge effects of mones, not actually pick-up girls. Staff females also not observing rules of personal space, getting in too close. Staff females also unusually nice to me, but that could be the placebo effect.

The personal space thing just wigged me out, it is something I am very sensetive to, being a detached company agent in the field, living out of a suitcase, etc. Could come in handy though. Does this effect seem familiar to any of you? Easy to believe it is all in my head, especially since I been experimenting less than a week.

Humbly submitted for your approval.

You may just be especially sensitive to differences in body language. Some people are more tuned in to that than others. I am one who is especially _insensitive_ to body language, because I think I must have Asperger’s or something of that nature. So you’d notice hits that would pass me by.

Yes, in general, the more versed people are in body language, the more obvious effects are. When I first used a [pheromone product](https://a314.com/shop/) (Realm For Men), I didn’t understand what was going on. The inaccurate description that came along with the product certainly didn’t help.

Men tend to be far less socially aware than women. The parts of male brain for social processing are smaller than in woman, so men tend to _assume_ more than they actually _perceive_. These include both positive and negative assumptions, often extremely polar – i.e., “all women like me” or “no women do”. Neither, of course, is true, but that’s how the male brain tends to operate. (which is why, if you must assume anything, then assume the best so as to elicit your own best behaviors)

Apparently, nature just didn’t think accurate social perception was important for men. You can develop this skill yourself, though, just be remaining socially aware in situations. Most pheromone users who stick with it sort of become masters of understanding social cuing, just with experience gained trying to understand what’s going on around them. After all these years, the effects certainly aren’t subtle to me anymore! (and I have a _thick_ skull!)

You can also studying classical material such like “Manwatching” by Desmond Morris. That helps quite a bit. (Actually, I think Desmond may have actually sort of “invented” the idea of modern body language in a sense)

Yeah, I’ve also noticed Ammo can - and often will - lead to a reduction of personal space. If you hang around in the same place for a while (about 2-10 minutes) you may start to notice a congregation of girls hovering around you. A lot of the time this can lead to a very aggressive invasion of your personal space - this can often be an unconscious thing on their part.

I’ve lost count of the times I’ve had girls pretty much pressed up against me whilst stood around in a pub or something. When girls position themselves near you as a reaction to the [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) you’re wearing, it is an attempt to get your attention. What never fails to surprise me is that this can often be an entirely unconscious attempt. It can seem at times that some girls are literally crying out for you to open them (which they are unconsciously) but in the past when I’ve opened girls I thought where giving me very obvious indications, I’ve been blown away at how startled they seem that I just opened them. Their surprise surprises me. They often react positively once I’ve opened, yet for the first 10 seconds of interaction they have a confused look on their faces as if to say "where an earth did you just come from!”
