# Thoughts on P109

While looking for some empty to-go bottles yesterday I stumbled upon a bottle of P109 (@ 10 mcg) - I didn’t even know I have this stuff! 😮 So I thought it’s about time to do my goddamn duty and give it a try! 🙂

I doused myself with 5 sprays P109 (3x neck, 1x hair (or what’s left of it 😃) and 1x spread between both hands) - nothing else. I didn’t notice any scent other than the one coming from the alcohol, and after the drydown it was completely odourless to me.

After spraying it on I felt something changing - a self effect I couldn’t describe in any way, I just felt that it did _something_. I went shopping for an hour and during this time it became more and more clear what has changed: I always feel a slight little social anxiety lurking somewhere in me when I’m out (after all I’m what you’d call a ‘lone wolf’ type, and social activities always put a little stress on me). But not this time - it was gone, and I felt totally relaxed and content. Nice! I have the feeling that there’s more to it - but I still can’t describe it fully. There’s some physical aspect to it, too… Maybe a physical relaxation, too?? _shrugs_ Btw, no signs of the ‘drunken’ feeling that P103 seems to give me (I’ll give this one a try again after I received my bottles with perfumers alcohol in a diluted version - the 50 mcg per spray proved to be far too strong).

I didn’t notice any effect on others - but provided they got the same effects as me it would be extremely hard to spot on strangers. I’ll give it a try when I’m back at the office next week - I might be able to see a difference in the people I know.

I’d say if this effect of easing anxieties proves to be consistent, P109 might become a useful addition to mixes for people who suffer from a little anxiety or stress. We’ll see… 😉
