> Kudos to you, Toilofday, for doing your own testing instead of relying on the word of others. You’ve done an enormous amount of homework on pheromones in your short time here, and you’re willing to take risks and discover for yourself … that’s what it takes to advance the body of knowledge.
>
> Everything I have read so far on Jutte’s study indicates it involved smelling copulins, not men smelling women wearing copulins. I’d be very interested to see documentation showing otherwise. Maybe someone could write to her and get a definitive answer?
>
> However, even if Jutte’s study DID involve copulins worn by women, that still leaves open the possibility that there may be ways for men to achieve some desired results using trace amounts of copulins as part of a well-rounded synthetic pheromone signature.

i think some pheromones behave differently in the presence of other pheromones. like when we get a result using one, but then introducing another makes them both behave out of character (or makes them something new?)
id like to see someone like Jutte come in and comment on all the posts ,LOL, that sounds like fun!

Good work there toilofday! I will wait for Ail’s post to make any final judgement but so far from everything I have read they don’t seem to put copulins on women rather the men sniff from towels/paper.

If you were to use women for sniffing, you will have to get women of exactly same attractiveness level but you will still have the variability of their natural copulin output.

I thought the tests involved synthetic copulins, not real ones? Didn’t JV Kohl say he used Jutte’s formula in Scent of Eros For Women?

edit: now I see that you were probably referring to their natural baseline copulin output before the synthetic cops were applied! Good point!

i believe he did.
i love scent of eros …
too bad he couldnt comment here as well.
your idea to involve a respected authority on the subject was brilliant.
how many of us are constantly refering to her findings? her articles?
doubt that she will have the time to humor our forum but how cool would that be??? 🙂

im not sure your theory is plausable.
attractiveness level implies you can find 3 or more equally attractive women (since attractiveness goes by a personal priority list, finding even 2 women equal in the same qualities would be like finding 2 similar snowflakes)
i hear men rate or measure women on a scale (which if it works is _fab_) but i cannot for the life of me figure out how anyone can find it accurate in any way shape form.😃 i mean, toil will say oh that one was a 7…and some guy reading be like yeah… but arent their views of what a 7 is different??? lol.
i LOVE you guys.

I agree. The tests involved synthetic copulins which were sniffed on an inanimate object according to what i have read.

Ail has always maintained that copulins without the presence of woman is going to do nothing. But apparently in those studies NO women were used.

Men are very, very visually oriented when it comes to sex. Can we say that copulins without the presence of a woman will do _something_, but copulins worn by a living, breathing woman will do much _more_?

It’s possible that because of this, it was always assumed that the reason for such a difference was completely chemical, but perhaps the difference has more to do with actually seeing a woman’s body in front of one’s face.

Or, I suppose it could be both.

im with you,girly.
i thought copulins affected men without a woman because of the studies, and when i read that men have tried them but didnt feel anything, i think to myself “well its not like a drug, probably subtle and temporary as well” . but then i read what copulins do to men with a woman present (because i wouldnt know anything about that 🙄 lol) and its 10 times stronger.
i think both are correct-
by themselves copulins do more than nothing; with a gal pal present they are conclusive and funnnnn.

Yaaay! I am _so_ glad you’re back. I am supposed to be writing a paper right now, but I don’t care…ugh. I hate school.

Anyway. I think there might be a chemical connection between the warmth of a woman’s skin and the wearing of copulins, but I’m starting to be convinced that a man’s response to the visual is a major factor in the difference between smelling them on her body and smelling them off a cotton ball (or whatever).

The combination of the chemical response and the visual response is actually really fascinating to me, but it may throw in a complication that makes further studies difficult–how the heck do you have a control if you don’t know which is causing what reaction?

Am I making sense? _Marone_…I wish I was more intelligent, LOL

Sorry to go off topic, but this is interesting. I must admit I don’t understand it either.

I use the Binary rating scale 0 = no 1 = yes.

I agree, that’s why I am curious to see what Ail has up her sleeve in terms of publications. And how they could convincingly demonstrate that it’s the copulins (and not the visual stimulation provided by women) which are causing the testosterone surge when women are wearing it.
One way would be to expose the men to the same women with or without wearing copulins. But that wouldn’t negate the possibility that copulins might work without the presence of a woman.

Yeah, it can’t possibly be the same 7 for every man, although at the same time I think most men would agree that Catherine Zeta-Jones is a 10. So, being someone not attracted to women, I don’t really get it either. 😛

that would still give credence to copulins making the woman appear more attractive, and that _in a way_ says cops work with or without the woman…
use a woman your not attracted to at all, and see if it stirs anything ( 😮 ) that would be pretty hard evidence, too! (omg its rubbing off! im thinking like a man!)

Actually I tried EW in nearly every dilution possible from full strength to 100:1 (cologne to cops).

I have no way of measuring my T-levels when sniffing or wearing EW, but it certainly didn’t feel any different. Didn’t notice any diff in my workouts either.

I’m going out clubbing, and don’t have time to say much.

I said before and will again: YES, there is a TEENSY result without the live woman. A Testosterone SPIKE however, is elevation of more than 100% from BASELINE in less than a 30 minute period. That cannot in any WAY happen without a woman, and Lor was on the right tracks with why it can’t.

I actually emailed a couple of people today late on about this, as I could honestly get into serious bother if I post anything here that I don’t have adequate permission to (medical research is a pretty close-to-the-chest area here in the UK) but I may have figured an angle to get around the hoo-ha, so I can post what I need to.

Right. I am going out to play, so have a good one boys and girls! 🙂

Have fun playing! Wish I was…LOL. Wish I had the _guts_ actually. My friend (Roomie) is opening in a show tonight, so I do have a bit of fun this evening.

Ail, seriously, don’t bother getting yourself in any sort of professional trouble by posting anything without permission. However, as I’ve said before, it is a _great_ privilege to have someone with an actual M.D. _and_ with such pheromone experience on the boards.

I was just curious, since men are _so_ much more visually oriented than women are, if any new studies implied that the results that we previously thought were entirely chemical happened to be influenced by visuals.
