> I don’t know what? That children will give you some indication that they are hurt? They sure will. I’m studying that aspect right now and even infants will cry out if something is wrong. Now if they get a strange affect then you’ll probably only hear from the older children (2 yrs and older) but even then, what harm could come to one session of spraying pheromones? It’s like someone doing weed one time. It barely scratches the surface in contrast to totally ruining you for life. I say if you don’t condone it then don’t do it, and if it happens then it happens. This isn’t weed and like Steve said they won’t hurt you, so why worry? Especially if it only happened once.
> But like I said. It’s all up to peoples opinions. Maybe one day we will see what the effects of pheromones on children, but for now I’m sure something that comes from the body isn’t going to ruin a child if only sprayed once.

got to love when people WITHOUT children think studying it is the same thing.
heres what:
i HAVE children.
NO, they dont always tell you when they are freaked out or not well, they are still learning to wrap their heads around why its happening themselves!

i would like to remind EVERYONE what happened to steve when he posted about using too much TAF.
he thought he was going to die.

re read it.

You don’t know that Putatives will not harm a young child. Please read this again:

> [@Steve](#):
>
> **It’s when we get into putatives and unknowns, then there could be a risk** , but dangerous to adults? It’s all relative on what could be construed as danger. **Using IFM in the pressence of a depressed person than yes it could be as bad as telling him off if he cuts you in line**.
>
> Now using anything, including soap, detergent, cleaning suplies, scented oils, sugar could be a hazard to children so caution should always be taken. **I agree that unknowns should be used away from little ones as no one can be sure of their reactions.** In the same stance caustion has to be taken with anything around young children. My neice was alergic to red food dye. Who would have thought it could make her deathly ill, after all it didn’t effect her little brother.
>
> **We should take precautionary steps with mones and they should be the same steps we take with everything**.

> I’ve got to defend Sillykitty here. I think people were right to advise her to think more thoroughly about pheromone testing around small kids in the future, but it wasn’t that horrible of a thing to do… Diane, if I ever had an extreme reaction to any of these products that I would compare to an illegal drug, I would stop using them and ask for a refund. I think you are way out of line here and that’s my 2 pennys.

Wow - I am shocked. Utterly mortified and shocked.

Renny, I believe Diane was viscerally reacting to the flippancy of Kitsune’s response.

> [@happykitsune](#):
>
> **Still the thing is there were no negative effects and thats all that matters.** Children are old enough to tell you if they have a headache. Now babies are another story, but children are perfectly capable of telling you…their not stupid. So I’m gonna have to side with Mark. Besides that how are we gonna know if their able to be sprayed around children? It’s not like were scaring them for life or severely hurting them.

YOU DO NOT KNOW THAT.

Please let me refer you to this post: [Feeling high on pheromones? & tonights experience.](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/feeling-high-on-pheromones-tonights-experience/2358) In post # 4, Lor mentions her son “…gets as depressed as one gets…” around IFM. When asked, Lor stated that her son said, “Mommy, why do I just want to die?” Her young son became suicidally depressed very suddenly. He did not know how to process this feeling. I am so thankful that he reached out and _told_ his mother his confusion and pain. **You may not be able to see the pain that you cause!** This is far beyond a headache or a simple pain.

In addition, pheros around youngsters burn out their neurotransmitters more rapidly than we do. There is a _reason_ they react stronger/“better” than adults.

The point is, these are _experimental_ products. I don’t care that Mark knows what’s in the bottles. He doesn’t know SK or HK, or CK, or any of their kids/grandkids. He cannot state how someone will react to a certain phero. Lor has two children - one reacted with severe, severe, depression, and one reacted normally. We have seen _time & time_ again how different people on this forum react differently. Just knowing that Mark feels “good” about what’s in the bottle DOES NOT mitigate the action of spraying a child. Jesus, we’ve had people have terrible reactions to SHine and TAA - one that we all “assume” is safe and normal. INDIVIDUALITY is the name of the game in this business. Individual, responsible testing.

> [@Diane999](#):
>
> You don’t know that. And that is the point. Putatives are not toys and they shouldn’t be used in a lackadaisical manner. Would you give your 3 year old meth amphetamine? That is the reaction I got with a low dose of P100.
>
> I’m sorry, but spraying putatives, or any unknown substance in the general direction of a child is just as irresponsible as smoking crack around one. I’m sure whoever is doing that will say no harm done as well.

I saw nothing in that post that was out of line. Renny, Diane’s reactions are very very different to stimulant-effect pheros due to her unique bio chemistry. Which is exactly the bloody point of this whole thing - everyone is different - children, adults, ADD, vitamin takers, men, women, etc. Individual testing, not random spraying, not spraying on children, but informed, knowledgeable testing is the only way to get a true baseline on these things. Diane’s experience with one phero is unique to her. She knows her self intimately and can understand why.

Now, suppose the grandkid of SK had pre-diagnosed ADD and she doused him with P100? Or was a bad responder to IFM? Or was allergic to [Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/)? Or anything? The “what if’s” are too numerous to count.

> [@happykitsune](#):
>
> **I don’t know what? That children will give you some indication that they are hurt? They sure will. I’m studying that aspect right now and even infants will cry out if something is wrong**.

I believe that you are out of your flipping mind. You are in college, and I think that a majority of the parents on this forum are sighing at your naivete. You are a student - studying a class on Child Psychological Development is a far, far cry from actually having kids. I have a degree in psychology too, but NO amount of books, studying, seminars or lessons prepared me for my two kids.

> [@happykitsune](#):
>
> Now if they get a strange affect then you’ll probably only hear from the older children (2 yrs and older) but even then, **what harm could come to one session of spraying pheromones? Once again, **I believe** you are out of your ever-loving, flipping mind.

1. There is anecdotal evidence on this forum alone, and all over the internet for harm come from “just one spray session.” I will refernce back to Lor’s son, as that is directly related to the child issue at hand.

2. Lor actually wasn’t wearing the IFM. Nor was her son. Someone else was and was around her son. How about that for “don’t condone it, don’t do it” ?? **These things affect people.** You _must_ be cognizant of this.

3. Suppose Lor’s son really didn’t know how to process his emotional state and didn’t reach out to his mother. Just suppose. How about that? Still feeling flippant? Still feeling like “one exposure wont hurt?”

4. I’m sorry - these phero’s are not natural. Yes, yes, the pheros we produce are, however, at the _levels that we are wearing them_ to _artificially augment_ our signature, they _cease_ to be natural. I believe that “what’s natural for you is good for you” argument is utter bollocks and trite shoite anyway.

> [@renny](#):
>
> _Edit: I forgot to say that although we may each have our own ideas about how we would like to see the testing done, it is all up to the brave ladies who are doing the test to do it anyway they please. Guerrilla research at it’s very finest!!!_

Actually, I have my doubts. I believe the idea of this is great, however, I would have chosen individuals who were more cognizant and more respectful & responsible towards the pheros, their uses, their potentiality, and the experiments. I would have chosen Veteran Users. I think this was inspired by a post of Tisha’s where she did some blind testing - great idea, but good god - Tisha is a Phero master. Not only that, she _knows herself_ and _knows those around her._ Her experimenting & reports are consistently reliable and unmistakable in quality. The same cannot be said for many on the forum.

Alright, preparing for incoming - let fly.

Your assumption is faulty. I’m letting you know.

SOME wear off. SOME last a long time. SOME have dissipating self effects but lasting projecting effects. How are you going to know if you dont let it wear out all day?

SOME users report 2nd day effects.

just an interesting note:
my 4 yr old was NOT clinically depressed.
he was a happy 4 yr old that coincidentally started talking about wanting to die the same time a friend of mine was wearing IFM daily.

my other son wasnt bothered a bit.

when the spraying stopped, so did the behaviour.

again,coincidence?

Alright, I’m gonna take my turn at pitchin’ pennies against the curb.

We do not have anything here that is genericly harmful. Yes, there are individual negative reactions, allergic and otherwise. None of these chemicals will cause harm to the majority of people exposed to them. None of these chemicals, even at the levels we consider OD, has done measurable lasting harm to anyone who was ever exposed to them.

We daily expose the entire range of the general public to this entire library of chemicals. Everybody from 3 to 103 exposed to widely varying dosages and types of exposure, completely without their knowledge.

We all bring the full force of our ingenuity to bear on the challenge of exposing as many people as possible to the maximum possible dosage of these chemicals, the composition of which is generally unknown to us. And then we gleefully report on the results.

It’s what we do.

Lor handled this very well. Stated her position without accusation and then took the action she thought was appropriate action. I repped her immeadiately.

The rest of this is hot air over a moot point.

Well isn’t this quit the learning experience 🙂

I think it’s great that these three girls are doing this for the sake of pheromone science!! 😛

As far as this whole debate goes, I’m going to have to side with Sillykitty and happykitsune on this one. I do not believe what Sillykitty did was at all wrong (this is just my opinion 🙂). If it didn’t harm the child then I find no fault here. I think we can trust her enough to know that she wouldn’t spray anything near a child that she felt would be harmful to their health (or that she wouldn’t first try on herself 😉).

I do hope that we can put this behind us and move on with this exciting project!!😃

Much Love,

~Tiffany~

Wow I get a kick out of that every time I read it. It’s really funny now, but it scared the bejezus out of me at the time. I believed that Lor was out to kill me and by her and Diane bringing it back up like a hammer held over my head, they might just be 🙂

I’m a bit tired and I will weigh in on this in the morning though.

yeah steve,
this post makes me laugh as hard as the chili-cook off email i get every year.

you know we never meant you any harm :o

my only point was that although the instant line (except IFM) seems only uplifting and positive,
stuff like “mixes” and experimones like TAF
could be a potential nightmare for children.
not because someone _walked by them_ wearing 2 sprays of MX###,
but because someone wore _8 sprays of it_, wore it in a car, or sprayed to deliberately “handle” a behaviour.

same reason i wont let my kids continue to refill their refillable pepsi at a restraunt 3 times;
a little caffeine is okay.
_they dont need to be wired_ _and have adrenals exausted_ 😉

I may not have had kids but I have had several young siblings and worked at a day care, so yes I have experience.
Also remember that spraying children once is not going to hurt them. Multiples times maybe, but how many times have we heard stories of ppl using these for children? Very few.
I’m just saying, sillykitty had good results, not negative ones. There’s no reason to get upset over her report.

Utterly ridiculous - we don’t know anyone on this forum. We only have each other’s words and their reported actions to judge them by. I don’t know SK at all. I can’t make a value judgement against her as an individual. I can say however that I believe her choices and actions were “silly” - or potentially dangerous.

In another vein, I do have a problem with her testing - she sprays too much to properly ascertain phero effects over a full day. In that regard, she DOESN’T KNOW what’s really effecting her or another.

By The Way… am I the only one that is remembering that she was testing that phero cold? Unknown? And it had only been half a day? How long do we recommend someone test something before they get the hang of it on here? a full bottle? A week, a month? WHEN did that switch to “Half a day? Sure, I got that!”

😕

You know, some of us moms are _clearly_ very upset over this. Apparently there is.

PLEASE, I implore you, PLEASE _READ_ some of the stuff on the forum about kids. ASK the parents about the pheros around their kids. Did you or did you not read about Lor’s son?

if you guys don’t like what your readying then don’t post. It won’t influence in anyway to stop what were doing or make us feel bad. I know your upset that you didn’t get the chance to blind test like we are because you know too much, but that doesn’t mean you attack sillykitty. That is rude and immature. I’m having a hard time believing your even a mom. And no, no it isn’t right to belittle the way you are. Have some respect and let people report. Go bother someone else.

I appreciate and understand the concern and opinions regarding my actions, and do take it as a lesson learned.

I also realize that you do not know me, and have only my words, to know me by. I am a deeply caring, honest and responsible person, who has made her share of mistakes along the way, but also has learned from those mistakes as well. I am not some totally irresponsible idiot with no brain or morals.

Perhaps my actions were inappropriate, and were unfortunately based on ignorance and assumption.

However, I did not spray it _in his face_. And though I did not note this in my report, the windows were wide open, and it was windy.

It is done, it is over, everyone has survived this, and many of us newer members have learned something about possible risks, and things that we all should be aware of, with pheromone usage.

Now, can we please move on and stop this arguing?
