By the way folks, Renny zeroed in and nailed what two of the bottles contain, and was pretty close on a third.

Won’t say which bottles he called correctly, but I will say that the correct guesses were from reports by Happykitsune and Sillykittty.

Kudos to Renny for identifying the contents of the 2 bottles from the reports, and to the girls for their astute observations and reporting.

Girls, this should tell you that your reporting is on track and accurate…at least 1/4 of them are anyway.

I had actually planned to do this idea a little while back over the summer with my sister, and then I saw one of Cookiegirls posts on a blind testing and just randomly told her my idea and then she’s like “Hey, we should do a blind testing now!”

I love how this has all worked out in the end tho

Tuesday March 17th
Bottle 1

Getting back to business, I decided to try b1 with some TAF during my final practical exam. I’ll mention why I needed some second helper because the deal is you walk into the classroom, pick a pastry/cake out of a hat and make it right there on the spot. No recipes, no notes, no guidelines. Needless to say I was a nervous wreck.

B1 seems to take on a different persona in the classroom. I find that it is easier to slide from one undertaking to the next, almost making me more levelheaded. I continuously kept my work area spic and span ( which I never ever do ) my chef jacket clean ( again..never) and I kept a watchful eye on the oven to make sure my éclairs didn’t burn ( which I always always forget to do ).

UPDATE !!! Monday March 23

Bottle 9 still smells amazingly like celery. However, I’m currently convinced that everyone likes the smell of celery peroxide. So far, I’ve started up some nice conversation with this. I almost dare say the word charisma ? to describe this. Because normally when it comes to starting conversations with people I don’t know too well, I tend to answer with something inspiring, like “ uhh..hahaha..? uh…“

But b9 gets me talking, and helps my mouth deliver what my brain means to say, instead of turning things into an awkward clusterfcuk of words. I don’t feel as worn out and tired as I usually do, during the day. Cheerful.

I am amazed! All three of you are doing an incredible job of nailing these molecules. Renny and Ariadne have both successfully named what’s in a couple of the bottles from your reports, and CookieGirl probably could not have picked a better work/school combination.

I’m betting that Renny, Ariadne and a few others can probably both correctly label Bottle 1 now too, huh?

And marty steps up to plate and nails a couple of the bottles as well. Two guesses were dead on, and a third hedged between a couple of products, but he still had it!

This time around the correct guesses were on 2 bottles Happykitsune is testing and 1 from CookieGirl.

I reported on both 10 and 4 in the last few days and added them early early this morning around 2 am XD

Just wanted everyone to know…

Btw, I believe I have tried out each bottle at least 2 times so I guess I’m ready to know what the contents are if Mark would like to PM them to me

Charge? I think the girls deserve gift certificates for their courage to test blindly, and for their astute observations, which enabled several members to accurately guess what the bottles contained.
