I just have to ask this tacky little question… If looks don’t matter, what’s up with plastic surgery business ? Men are swarming to have their faces done… everything from refinements and rebalancing, a bit more chin, ears flatter, straight nose… to the full monty; suctions, tucks, faux-muscle implants, fake buttocks even ! Gawd, the day you see me in the waiting room for butt-cheeks, please shoot me on the spot… and as much as much liberal, appearances aren’t everything programming goes, I have to admit that the guys I see on the docu-dromedies or whatever thay are do look anything from more attractive to phenomenally better… symmetry and proportion in a face do work wonders… often it is the less conspicuous, refined, better class of DNA look that works infintely better than the pop eyed, laser flashed, abnormal Ken Doll look… but, hey, when it works, it works… I also have to be upfront, I recently lost about 30 pounds and went from dumpy to lean, and I get a LOT more sustained eyeball time from women across the age spectrum… move more gracefully, look fresher, more vigorous… yeah, it matters… stop kidding yourselves… ---

I read mostly what the ladies type here - they know best. Also there’s a huge difference between what will work in attracting a beautiful, intelligent, compassionate, caring, funny, all round lovely WOMAN and what works with your average hoodrat (be they a 3 or a 9.9). The whole cake versuses getting sick on the icing! 😃 Matt ---

the whole package… beautiful, irrestistable me… all of the above, excess weight just messes you up in so many parameters, you walk different, your center of gravity shifts, and oh man, that nasty middle aged gut hanging out scares the cuties something awful… lean and toned stands out, especially in an older guy… 20 something women have this thing for healthy male adult figures like young guys have this issue with MILFs… sheez… I would be in a meditative celibate phase ? The deal with weight is you hit the metabolic wall, can’t sleep, see stars and blobs when you close your eyes, no energy… and you have to tough that out for weeks until you reprogram into thin… but you then feel so light on your feet, aerodynamic almost, free… way less back and joint pain, freakin’ liberation from the fat suit… breathe so much deeper and easier, heart feels like its pumping against no resistance, how did I ever stand my swollen self ? ---

I was referring to Ail - she insulted him from her initial response. You may not realize it because it’s so ingrained in our language - just as I don’t think his intent was to try to “objectify” all women. Sometimes a metaphor is just a metaphor. It seems all these PUA threads wind up the same way, sometimes I can see why, most of the time, I don’t. Why are y’all so bothered by what these guys choose to do? Because they are playing a numbers game? so what - don’t be that number. problem solved. I just don’t see the point in getting in their asses about it. If they are willfully hurting, insulting, or abusing women in the process, then by all means, every last one of us should speak up. I always have and always will, but as you yourself said, there are quite a few PUAs out there who aren’t in the game to hurt people. they just have a different viewpoint. ---

Gotta have both in this competitive environment… personality and mind augment good physical condition… seriously, when you meet someone in good to great shape and they’ve got presence, that’s the ticket right there, innit ? Damn, I’m scaring myself as I troll through the male plastic suregery sites, seeing potato-y guys all tightened and freshly ironed… they come in looking like cops who drink cases of beer and go out like the young Johnny Depp… kinda freaks me out, what ARE they doing to all that nerve rich living tissue ? OK everyone, here is the negative rep I just received for merely supporting some of the women’s comments in this thread. **If you are going to support hate based statements towards men in the MENS FORUM, then just stay out of it so you wont’ be offended. Oh and read the sticky about women posting.** For whomever wrote this (it was left unsigned), I personally wasn’t “offended” by anything said here in this thread. I was merely posting my OPINION, which I thought this thread was all about. I guess, however, that my opinion is not welcomed here, in the **MEN’S** forum.
