# Too much alpha? Should natural alphas be careful wearing A314

Question for all of you phero aficionados:

Any such thing as “too much alpha”? Basically asking should natural alphas wear (or be careful wearing) the likes of a314? Do you think it could cause aggressiveness or make one seem unreachable?

Your thoughts?

in my experience, the closer match the [pheromones](https://a314.com/) are to the user’s natural personality, the better the outcome. Congruence is key here. Took me months to actually learn how to wear A314 and “walk the walk”.

I agree that congruence is very important here.

So if you already have a good range of natural alpha traits, the pheros should support them nicely.

However if those traits are of the less social variety or the sort of high-Androstenone Alpha that very big/strong guys can suffer from, it might be worth considering using something more social to make the best of complementary properties instead.

IME the real problems with alpha products come when its someone who is incongruent/uncomfortable with taking the lead and actually being alpha - A very reticent/shy/socially uncomfortable/awkward kind of guy. Alpha products and that mindset/personality traits can end-up with them being taken as unsocial/standoffish/too-good etc, which will usually make acheiving their desires all the harder.

If you have an alpha personality like myself, friendly and liked by both with men and women, have a natural presence, with an intuitive leadership sense A314 will compliment it nicely. I feel more confident wearing this. I take actions to ensure people that they can feel comfortable around me. Watch your tone of voice when addressing people, so you send the message that you’re not a threat. Be confident and take charge.
