This is a great idea and a number of us have been trading with or sending other members pheros to try for some time, without any problems. I love this forum and just about everybody here. But, I do feel that it should be pointed out that we have thousands of members, and it’s impossible to know each and every one of them. While I’d hate to think anything bad could come from trading or selling pheros to ANY member of the forum, I do think it’s only prudent to point out that caution should be exersized before giving out your personal information to anybody, and that includes myself. I’ve been around for awhile and have a lot of posts under my belt, which kind of allow people to get an idea of who I am and what I’m about. But, I was still kind of surprised when the girls in the 3 Blind Mice thread so willing sent me their personal information. In addition to the safety issue of giving out personal information to somebody that you really don’t know, there’s also the potential of not getting the product you think you’re tading for or buying. I’m not trying to be a kill joy or scare anybody off on the idea, but want to point out that just because somebody is a member here and offers something for sale or trade, you shouldn’t automatically assume its safe to give them your personal information. At the very least, before giving out your name, address and/or your money to anyone, read some of their posts and try to get an idea of who you’re dealing with. I’m not saying that anyone in the forum is of questionable character or has anything less than the truest of intentions or motives, but just trying to remind everyone that its best to be cautious and safe. ---

I would have to agree to that point. I do like that this forum has the reputation system, it’s similar to Ebay’s feedback system. Also, this forum also lists how long the person has been a member here. Both are things to take into account when considering this. It might be a good idea to start a sticky thread listing “trusted traders”, where people can list a good transaction, warn people about untrustworthy traders, etc. Many of the automotive and motorcycle forums I visit use this sort of reporting system with good results. It’s very handy to know you’re dealing with a trustworthy person when you’re dropping $300 for a used Intruder engine… ---

Well, it looks like it’s up to me to get this ball rolling again! SillyKitty and I are in the midst of doing the first new trade/sale, grabbing some of my stockpiled MX292 and a few other goodies. What i’m looking for is someone willing to part with their **MX109**. I know it’s a rare one, so i’m willing to trade something else rare, or several for one. I’ll list all of what i have in my signature for awhile so that you can peruse it on your own time. I have some… plans for this one that i wanna test out (including the local gay bar… taking one for the teeeeam!), so it’s all for the good of SCIENCE! However, i’m afraid i can’t trade any of my 3 MX-sets or my EST, as i’ve promised people trials and reports with them. Sorry. 😮 ---
