I received my order of [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) yesterday. So I decided to field-test some of them. Before going out to a trivia night at a bar, I put on the following. MX297 - 2 sprays on temples, 1 each IH - 2 sprays on sides of neck, 1 each P131 - 1 spray on forehead @ 5 mcg/spray Bvlgari Aqva cover scent I arrived at the bar, ordered my beer, and we started with trivia contest shortly later. These are the following reactions I observed. **Self** Demographic: _male, 32, Caucasian_ Inconclusive. I was also testing the self-effects of P122 the same night, which I sprayed on my upper lip, so the P122 effects predominated over anything I sprayed on other parts of my head. It made me feel ill-at-ease, but the feeling passed when I arrived at the bar. **Waitress** Demographic: _female, late 20’s, Caucasian_ No real difference from how waitresses usually treat me. She brought my drink orders pretty quickly, and took the time to patiently answer my questions. Although, this might be a hit after all, since it was a trivia night, and the bar was pretty crowded. I wasn’t paying attention to how quickly she brought drinks to other people at my table. **Man across from me** Demographic: _male, mid 40’s, Caucasian_ He was pretty friendly to me, although he gave off a friendly vibe in general when I first saw him. We exchanged comments about which beers are good, as well as answers to trivia questions. I didn’t notice anything different than how I imagined he’d act if I weren’t wearing pheromones. **Woman to my left** Demographic: _female, late 20’s, Caucasian_ She was pretty friendly too. We exchanged a few jokes, and she even chimed in when she overheard me talk to the man in the last paragraph. I did a few flirty maneuvers, like a momentary touch on the arm when talking. Her reactions were neither positive nor negative. She wasn’t repulsed by it, but also didn’t flirt back; basically, she acted like it’s no big deal. **Woman to my right** Demographic: _female, 30’s or 40’s (hard to tell), Asian_ She was the only person where I noticed somewhat negative hits. Other than when the host asked questions, the music in the bar was kind of loud. So I had to lean in toward her to talk or listen to her. And whenever I’d lean in, she’d lurch away a little bit, like she was intimidated or uncomfortable. I adjusted my behavior by leaning in a little less. **Other people at my table** Demographics: _late 20’s to late 40’s, mostly Caucasian_ They sat too far away from me to be much affected by my pheromones, but the answered me pretty quickly. One other thing that caught my attention is that at the end of the contest, everybody dispersed almost instantly. Although it was late on a weeknight, and people had jobs to get to next day. ---

IME [MX297](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/mx297/) is often best when used standalone, or with just a little TUTH or plain Androstenone for sexual steering. Adding other mones can upset its effectiveness surprisingly easily. ---

Interesting. I thought other pheromones complemented MX297, but you (mobocaster) have more experience than I do, so I’ll trust your judgment. I have a possible theory why I had a no-hitter. I was self-testing P122 the same night, and for reasons I can’t put my finger on, it sent my anxiety level through the roof. I calmed down for the most part after arriving at the bar, but some residual anxiety must have leaked through into my facial expressions and/or body language. Anxiety is almost always a status killer, which prevented me from acting congruent to MX297. Since it’s not an androstenone product, I didn’t get get ghosted, but I didn’t get the high-status benefit, either. I also have MX353 and IG. Is MX353 good for trivia nights too? Or is it better suited for more sexualized environments, like in a salsa club or maybe in a dance class? I go to both semi-regularly. In either case, do I use it alone or with another product? ---

Some will complement it very well - but almost everything will alter its vibe somewhat, often for the worse. I’ve found that anything with Rone kills/confuses it very badly, whilst None does the least damage. We have no idea what P122 or P131 contain, so it could be that. IH defocuses [MX297](https://a314.com/product/mx297/) quite a bit - its still social but more hesitant. Yes, mood can affect how you handle pheros, often rendering them less effective if its a poor/negative mood. Status - not really what I’ve ever got from MX297 - Social engagement yes, so maybe a form of social status but nothing in line with conventional status products. Again, this may have something to do with its poor performance alongside Rone. MX353 - Hell no! Its a very hard hitting and liberated, attractive sexual 😃 You’d likely ghost left right and centre but take it to a loud, dark and raunchy club and watch it light-up your night! 😃 IG goes very well with it around younger people but A314 has given me some of the maddest nights in a long time. 😃 ---

Don’t forget different people experience different results. Don’t stick to conventional boundaries; what may _not_ work for others, may work _perfectly_ for you. ---

What you said makes sense, though. Androsterone is a serious [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/), which makes it clash with the fun-oriented MX297. Would MX353 work well in a Latin dance club or at a karaoke night? I’ve had women jump in with me as backup singers when I sang the right song, so I’m hoping to use it to get them to do more than jump in. 😉 ---

That would be much more the thing with MX353, yes - expect to get ghosted like crazy at the beginning but become distinctly more tasty as things liven-up. Enjoy! 😃
