Me and -none don’t see eye to eye so I avoid it. Have seen mostly negative reactions by others when I wear it. Mostly sticking to IO, IShine, etc. Occasional single spritz of Chikara sometimes which has -none in it, but not a very large amount (and it hasn’t been bad before).
As far as I know there isn’t anyone else I encounter that would be using pheromone products. I run into few people at all, much less any with any regularity. For a city of 70,000 (plus any “undocumented” which could be another 20,000) this area can be pretty dead.
Actually today is one of the first days in a while I’ve actually worn something more heavy on the -none side as an experiment with one of the girlfriends. Grabbed the Alter Ego (2 drops) and added a single spritz of IH when I went to visit her this AM. I was playing a hunch on what I shall call “the phase of the moon…”. For once things seemed to go halfway well with her and AE. Would love to try Ammunition, but it ain’t in the budget yet. Danged property tax payment…
And PMX101, and PU79, and all the rest… <sigh> I want I want I want

i dont agree with 'none as a rule,too. whether im wearing it or someone else is, im a raging - you know. however-
there is something- i have no idea what it is - in these products that make me able to tolerate and dare i say enjoy the 'none in the product. maybe its the application for all i know. i just know i have used the Ammo myself and i do not have adverse reactions to it, and the way i react to other stuff with 'none you would think id be irritable.
I recall mentioning this some time ago in another thread, but I had gotten a real bad “curl up in a ball” reaction from this one girl (33y/o) when trying 1 drop or so of Primal Instinct (a very high -none product for those who don’t know). As an experiment one day I tried PI again (again 1 drop if I recall) with her, only this time I had added a couple drops of a314. No problem. No bad reactions. Maybe time of the month, or maybe something like a314 helps to act like a “control rod” when it comes to the -none nuclear furnace. Or both.
A lot of people seem to be misinterpreting the study results about women not liking ~none except at ovulation. The results in studies find women who are ovulating find ~none “less revolting”, a bit of a way from “liking”. Of course, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t get results, but…
Okay, I finally have my bottle of TUTH. It’s 2.5 mcg/spray of none (warm) and version 1.1. I applied 1 spray to my wrists.
Wow. I love the scent… smell reminds me of one of the few scents I like anymore, Cerutti Red. And my face and ears feel like they’re being baked, which means there’s p79 in this stuff. Not surprising, but it’s going to make wearing this difficult. “Bake-face” is distracting, to say the least. Good thing nobody else has experienced this side effect from p79.
I’m not raging though… even as tired as I am. 2.5 mcg/spray of NONE appears to be a go.
EDIT: Interesting note. TUTH seems to have caused ME arousal. Which is odd because androstenone never did by itself.
I’ve seen that one. In truth, there’s not enough human studies on androstenone to be conclusive about anything.
What’s interesting is that we’ve been talking about a pheromone in elephants that may parallel what androstenone does for humans.
It’s a smelly pheromone called frontalin, and it’s highly repulsive to ALL other elephants, except female ones in heat. It basically “clears the room” of all elephants, allowing for isolation of the very one is most fertile right now.
The main difference is that it seems that older human men make more androsteRONE than androsteNONE, whereas it’s the older elephants making more frontalin. In elephant society, it’s the elder elephants making the babies.
Sex and making babies go hand in hand, or rather pen… er, nevermind.
As enjoyable as it is, and as much as we might not want to have a baby from it for our own reasons, sex is nature’s way of procreation. It makes complete sense that we get horniest and want sex the most when we’re the most fertile.
To nature, sex at any time other than ovulation is just practice!
My face and shoulders feel warm, too, especially my lips and earlobes…
But I don’t think I am allergic. I think p79 somehow causes the nerves to sensitize and fire. If I was allergic, application to skin would surely be the “bakiest” point… but application to skin has had no response at all on the wrists.
One spray of TUTH to the back of the head is definitely bearable. No foul mood, minimal “bakiness”. Definitely makes a big difference. It’ll be a few days before I can wear this again… but when I do, I’ll try two sprays to the back of the head.
Cat, I can wear a ton of Anone, TUTH, Raw Power, P79, NPA, etc., and excluding the sneezing that this produces, I do not get those flushes you seem to have with few things ..
Strange, but seemingly we react differently to either phero’s or the carriers.
I only flush like that with the heat from p79. Androstenone only pisses me off with an overdose. I am probably hypersensitive to both, since they are so similar in effect…
I did not think 2.5 mcg of androstenone would even be noticed because an article i read regarding the RAW POWER and PI comparison on the sales page here quoted PI as being about 20 ncg per drop and RAW POWER was manufactured in a manner to give a controlled dose of a standardised 10mcg of none so when this is weighed up i suppose a 2.5 mcg none dose must add a slight bit of heat only but it must be enough of a catalyst to start a fire, these are just my thoughts and i also understand that you blokes here are the real pherodudes who we new boys will learn a bit from
2.5 mcg is a lot, 10 is 4 times that. And I thought PI was 10 mcg same as Raw Power, or even slightly less.
To be ‘noticed’, a low-mid dose (for your own chemistry) would do. To be ‘pursued’, a dose above that. 2 sprays of TUTH @ 5mcg will get you close to pursued, while 10mcg will start to split people into love-hate groups.
Oils release pheromones a lot slower than sprays do.
I hear a lot about all the brands from the people who call me. Reports on Primal very widely, so I honestly don’t know if the people who made Primal always gave you the exact amount they said they do in each bottle.
What I have heard that they’ve changed their oil blend over the years, so it’s tough to say what the dosage would be per drop.
The only other brand we’ve seen consistency from for androstenone products is LaCroy. They don’t use a lot of androstenone, but they give you what they say they do, and that supposedly “small amount” definitely knocks you over the head!
