I have an idea to use a dropper with my spray products rather than spraying them. I have to admit I don’t really like the [Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/) scent, I never really have…it’s far from manly, and I feel like an idiot wearing it. But anyway, enough bashing…I still want to wear my CTTM more often. So, I was thinking of using a dropper to drop it onto my skin, and that way I could reduce the smell but still get a similar phero effect.

My question is, how many drops of a spray bottle are equivalent to the mcg of a spray? Any recommended droppers? Can you guys at Androtics start selling a dropper?

Droppers are not recommended for the spray products. You want to spread the mones over a area for better diffusion. If you dont have diffusion you wont see good results.

The oils of course you cant spray but they are designed for slow long diffusion. Thats why the stronger products like A314 [Raw Power](https://a314.com/product/raw-power/) and Dirty come in oil.

If the smell of neroli really bothers you and you still like the results you get with the product on your next order get unscented or try a different scent pack. Neroli is very diffusive but its not everyone favorite scent. 😉

Drops can be effective too. One spray might be approximately equal to 5 drops. You can put those 5 drops away from each other and then rub and spread them to cover a wider area. Sometimes sprays are just too damn diffusive.

Thats my point they need to be diffusive to work in a open setting. He would have to be in close range of his targets alot. Maybe a few feet.

From what Jas told me with my first order spraying in a wide arc on your body will make the products more effective instead of spraying them in one spot and rubbing them around which will make them harder to diffuse off your body. Drops would be the same concept.

So he may still see results but not as strongly as he would if used correctly.

I am looking for the other one By Jas that explains it.

You could just say to unscrew the cap and dab, but unless it’s Anone product you have to worry about bacteria from your hands contaminating the product and causing conversions.

It changes the character of the scent somehow by affecting the scent itself and/or possibly diffusion. Do you think it might apply to [pheromones](https://a314.com/) as well? I am thinking rubbing appication points for oil-based products is ok, but not for spray-based products. Anyone noticed any differences either way?

Many non-androtics products use droppers and work well. I use a dropper to apply chemset A-1 and androstenone and it works great. Also Aquagen uses a dropper. I feel I can be more precise with placement and less wasteful. I’ve used NPA with the built-in top dropper and I can’t ever say I didn’t get enough diffusion with that product. A few drops and the reek of that funky shit stays with ya for days.

Personally I mainy dap or drop when experimenting with new products or mixes. Once I like it I usually premix in an atomizer for easy application on the run in cars, bathrooms and parking lots. Drops and dabbing just won’t do if you’re out and about.

I also use roll-on applicators and they work well too.

As for [Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/), I hate it with a passion second to none. A terrible rotten fruit smell. However it covers easily enough with citrus based cologne like CK One, Burberry Weekend or Issey Miyake. I recently got a custom IH 2x order with no scent. I mixed it 1:1 with Burberry Weekend and am in hog heaven.

To answer the original question it really depends on the dropper that you are using. Dancing Joker taught me that 6 drops from the pipette is equal to one full spray from a 30 ml bottle or 5 from the to go bottle.

I only use pipettes sold by Androtics to keep all my mixes accurate. Whatever you decide I highly recommend using one type of dropper and sticking with it. You should have a different dropper though, for each product.

Using another type of dropper might be difficult to measure.

I know droppers aren’t recommended because of the lack of diffusion, but I don’t really mind that. I think stuff like NPA works great even when I use just drops.

I wanted to get CTTM without neroli, unscented, but Jasmin said that it’s only available with the neroli already blended in. So that also rules out getting CTTM with any other scent.

Are you just guessing or having you tried that?

By the way, I’m not having problems with my [pheromones](https://a314.com/) being effective, just that I don’t like the scent of CTTM…the neroli is rather strong. I also agree with Gegogi, that I can be a lot more precise with my mixes when I use drops or less wide sprays.

Great, thanks! I’ll be getting one of those pipettes then. Do you have a link? (or did you mean the pipette that’s attached to my spray bottle itself?)

Ok if you dont care about getting better effectivness with the products then dab or drop away. As long as you know it will effect that you’ll be fine. Of course when you report in the forum let them know the method you use because it does make a very big difference in test results. And this is a research forum.

NPA by the way was designed to be added to other products or colognes. Its 5 times stronger in Androstenone then alot of products which is probably why the dab method works all right with it.

I do notice that the neroli in CTTM is much lighter then in things like shine. It has more of a herbal smell to me. I think different pheromones can effect the way the neroli smells in each product so you may not have a problem either way.

Good luck 😉

I thoutht it was the opposite. Michael had once posted that CTTM had a higher neroli concentration than other Instant line products since it lacked other fixatives and tweaks. My bottle attests to that, but maybe it changed recently.

Maybe cause mine smells like herbs with a slight orange smell. My Instant shine and [Instant sexiness](https://phera.com/product/instant-sexiness/) are far stronger smelling to me. I just got mine last week and its my first bottle of CTTM so I have nothing to compare it to but the other neroli products.

Maybe it’s changed now.

Infact I also vaguely recall an earlier post mentioning that new users receive a higher dose of scent package than long time users, to make it easier for them to notice results. I will try to dig up that post but since I forgot the context in which it was mentioned it might be hard.

In my opinion using drops of Androtics products are a crime against their efforts for maximum diffusion!

I love the sprays and how much more efficient they are than all of the other products I have used over the years that are oils or gels, sprays are definitely better for affecting people around me.

A yard of goop is less effective than a spray covering 36 inches of skin. 😛

I understand if you guys are using the drops for self affect or close contact. But to reach the masses a spray just works better.

Good one, but i think i disagree. Taters been getting a LOT of consistency by compositing with a favorite fragrance and splashing, NOT rubbing, the fragrance on selected application points. For example, i use those cologne sample vials with the little cap and just drizzle my composited brew around my neck, or into my hair, or on my wrists.

Everyone should use whats best for them, but this approach hasnt been so bad…

::Tater gives inkling a yard of rep::

I agree people should do it the way they like but I always assume when someone asks that they want the maximum effect from the product so I suggest the way to get that which is spraying.

I tend to agree with Mharris (after all he made them) and he says the more skin your product touches the better the diffusion this is why they use spray bottles. The better the diffusion the better the hit. I especially agree with this for Androstenone products (in alcohol) though which are sticky to begin with. You even dab it around your making it stick to your skin even better.Oils are supposed to diffuse slower and are stronger.

This will effect the information they use to make new products as well. So people whatever method you use make it clear in your posts when you are talking about a product. They can gage how much [pheromone](https://a314.com/shop/) content your getting when you spray but not when you dab, wipe, smear or drizzle. It also matters to the people who we are suggesting these products to.

Very good point.

I do think spraying is more convenient, but what happens when you try to spray on your wrist and 3/4 of the dose goes past you and into a cloud a few feet away? Maybe Tater should warn that when he does an experiment, he may be using slightly more than you would get by spraying because of the drizzle effect.

So Tisha, speaking of drizzle, what happened to that photo of you drizzled with maple syrup?😛

i don’t know if it’s just me, but i always felt more comfortable spraying the mones on my clothes instead of skin.

reason 1 - they last longer.

reason 2 - the mones are less susceptible to bacteria on the skin’s surface and doesn’t break down or convert into something else as quickly- especially in hot and humid climates. (-nol to -none conversion for example)

reason 3 - they are far more stable and consistent on fabric and provide a sort of buffer zone for mood and emotional shifts. (if i get frustrated or irritated the mones don’t maximize and distribute the effects immediately)

reason 4 - all of my clothes smell good lol 😃

reason 5 - my wardrobe becomes my pheromone signature base.

reason 6 - continuous application to the clothes achieves the same or better effects as that of an individual who was born with naturally high (and attractive) pheromone production levels because it mimics the same process of the person perspiring and the clothing absorbing the mones. and the best part is u get all the benefits of the mones without any of the negative side effects such as BO buildup that comes with natural sweat.

i still apply to wrist and neck for oil and concentrate based products like A314 and NPA but that’s about it. 🙂

of course when it’s time to get ‘busy’ u gotta go with skin application, unless there’s some roleplaying costumes involved lol. 😛

jojo’s 0.2 cents.

> I tend to agree with Mharris (after all he made them) and he says the more skin your product touches the better the diffusion this is why they use spray bottles.

I think there are other factors at play here as the above hasn’t been my experience at all. Now I regularly spray, dab and roll and find them all about equally effective when used to my best advantage. I have very little actual exposed skin, so there’s only a few small patches on my hands and neck I can apply pheromones. Sprays just aren’t accurate enough. And I ain’t about to spray alcohol based product any where near my nose, eyes or face. However I can apply A314 and Scent of Eros with pin point accuracy on those precious few square inches. So oil based product forms my base coat and I dare say this combo–dabbed and rolled–has proved extremely effective in the workplace.

After work I lighten up with an atomizer premixed with cologne and NPA/A-1 and/or Androstenol. I spray on my shirt and pants as there is no skin available. Spraying on my face or neck is out of the question. Now these mixes have proven to be highly effective for me, but I initially tested them and tweaked ratios by dabbing. Similar results sprayed or dabbed, doesn’t really matter.

Now I’m not opposed to spraying on skin away from my face. The few times I wear short sleeves or go topless I don’t hesitate in spraying ma nekid hide. I might add the times I played with EW diffusion was so good I could smell it strongly no matter what I did: dab, drip, smear or spray. Androstenone behaves similarly albeit not as funktastic. Just my experience. May prove different for you due to weather, body chemistry or individual product idiosyncrasies.

Finally, my experience is most pheromones applied to clothing last longer than skin apps due to less degradation by sweat and bacteria.
