Thanks to Dee and Mrseeker who responded to my introduction and passed on some recommendations. I can see keeping a journal is the done thing, so I’m happy to get on board and share my experiences for science! And most of all because it seems MSM are somewhat hard to come by on here. I’m pretty unlucky in the dating department. The people that have liked me are pretty basic and the people I find feelings for usually tend to be friends first. Sometimes I can make it out of the friend zone just enough to go on a date or two, sometimes it never happens. Gender doesn’t really factor into my attraction but in lay term’s feel free to consider me bisexual. My target is my best friend and roommate. We live together, we hang out together, we drink together, all around we’re very like minded and enjoy each other’s company. Many people have already called us a ‘sexless couple’ 🙂 Not sure when I started liking him but its happened gradually over the last few months. He’s 26 and considers himself straight but is completely open to the idea of being with a guy if he should ever find himself falling for a guy. Guess who wants to be that guy? ---

I’ll start this journal from this past pheromone free Monday. After getting home from work we went to launch party for a new brewery. Since things at home can be a bit flat I find these outings are the perfect chance for us to talk to each other and friends without the tempting distraction of TV. Conversation was nothing out of our ordinary, we laughed, set the world to rights, talked about our literal dreams, and drank of course. He’s quite relaxed and easy to talk to until I asked “how are you?” It’s the kind of thing that’s easy to let slip by when you’re so physically close to someone, so I asked to know that everything is okay in his life. Here’s where he seemed to not have an answer at all saying its a weird question since most people don’t expect any kind of sincere reply. He then started telling me how his parents are, how his sister and her boyfriend are. Never actually answered the question though. I can see why women find men difficult! Fast forward to yesterday, Wednesday. I came home from work to find my order of PherX (for Women) had arrived. Since he identifies as mostly straight I opted to try out female [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/). After reading PherX’s reviews on Amazon I figured there’s no harm in trying. I hopped in the shower and scrubbed up and used 1x on my wrist and about half a spray on my neck. There were no terribly obvious hits the whole night which I expected (it would be weird if he came home and said "DAMN TroyBoy, I am suddenly incredibly aroused by you for no discernible reason) but there were a few things that made me go hmmm. First one being he was definitely more excitable like he had just gotten some good news, a bit more chatty but he’s not terribly quiet anyway. We went out to the grocery store and he brushed against me about half a dozen times. Later on at home, while laying on the floor his body was almost always turned towards mine. In and of themselves I can’t say these are hits but they’re little behaviors that are a bit out of the usual that I think I’ll be keeping an eye on. No real self-effects, btw, although I couldn’t fucking stop sniffing my wrist! I’ll carry on with the PherX until my order of Puppy Love arrives then we’ll see where that takes things ---
