Hi all… have been reading the forum for a few weeks and just recently registered. I got my bottle of TUTH today, the first [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/) I’ve ever tried.

Anyway I have a question about using the pheros… does it matter if you are wearing scented deodorant or take a shower with scented body wash? Will it cancel out or conflict with the pheromone? I’d like to here what everyone else does.

Hi there, well as far as I know you shouldn’t spray deodorant over the pero’s or the phero’s under your armpits. But other then that, masking the smell is done very often. Also you can use scented body wash, but only before appliing the [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) (otherwise you’ll just shower it off, or atleast most of it)

Hope that answers your questions 😃

Oh yeah, drop in the introductions section since you’re new here. Say hi and tell a few things about you there and you can get a 25$ gift certificate 😃. Just go to the sticky [How do I qualify for a 25$ gift certificate for details.](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/how-do-i-qualify-for-a-25-gift-certificate/19934)

The body wash should not be a problem at all. I’m supposing that when you talk about deoderant you mean an underarm spray. If that’s the case it’s fine since you don’t put the pheromones in your pits. Put the pheromones on your neck or wrists or chest like you would cologne, but don’t cove them with a deoderant. Covering with a cologne is OK but not a deoderant.

Yea I was just talking about underarm deodorant/antiperspirant solid.

Spray/solid same difference. I don’t use any of the new body spray type products so I’m not sure which ones of those contain deoderants and which ones are just spray colognes. That’s why I was being careful about what I meant. Any deoderant is going to sanitize the pheromones if put into contact with them, but colognes often help by acting as a carrier for the [pheromone molecules](https://pheromonelabs.com/). That’s why the products sold here usually have a scent component like neroli added.
