I like to wear fragrances (cologne/perfume). When wearing a [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/), should you wear a fragrance as well? Would the fragrance overpower the mones? Should you just leave the fragrance alone and only wear mones?

It’s okay to wear fragrance while wearing mones. In fact, our products are already with light fragrance. Most are with 6% Neroli. Perfect for persons like you who wanted to use their favorite scents while wearing mones.

The function of the fragrance in our products is for diffusion. It also help to mask the naturally unpleasant scent of the [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/).

Spraying your fave cologne would defenitely help in masking further the natural scent of the pheromone, but it will not affect its effect, as long as it is smelled/inhaled.

Just make sure to let your pheromone application dry first before you apply a spray or two of your favorite cologne.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone here wear a fragrance along with their mones? Or do you do it alone with only mones?

Most of us do I suppose.

The light/6% scent of the Instant/experimental products is enough to promote diffusion but usually fades with resultant fall-off in diffusion towards the end of the pheros active lifespan, or fades and will not cover the breakdown smell of some pheros.

Using a good cover scent helps keep diffusion going as long as possible over the widest area and in most cases will keep any breakdown smell acceptable/manageable.

There are some situations where you can get away with wearing unscented/minimal scents but they tend to be rather restricted environments that help promote diffusion and new developments like AD’s “Stealth Diffusion” and competitors using polymer gel instead of traditional alcohol/DPG carriers does mean you can wear pheros effectively with minimal scent but in most cases but that’s a fairly new thing.

Also remember that a good cover scent is something that communicates things about you too - and a well chosen phero and scent combination can make for a more effective package overall.

I do both. I usually put the cologne on my arms and the mones jaw/neck/ear.

I have reported on all the different scent options and is in my journal if you are interested. I find the only ones that you may have trouble with are the Ammo is it is 10% scent strength and your cologne may clash with it. I find the FF21/Ammo and FF20/Himalayan are the only ones that really clash with cologne at the 6% and 20% strength options. Now at the new 3% scent option colognes cover them just fine.

All the others are fine. I actually fine with a cologne that it can help the pheromones work even better if you have a decent cologne. The find the key is to get a cologne with **NO ANTI-BACTERIAL** ingredients as they can interfere with the pheromones.

I prefer to apply cologne and mones to different spots, this way, it’s possible to top up either mones only or cologne only without having to go overboard with the other ones. Since both colognes and mones are noble products, and quite costly, I prefer to respect the products and not put them in direct contact with one another.
