I recently lost 60 lbs rapidly and barring some other emotional experiences in the last few years, I find that I do not ‘feel’ like the same person I used to be.

I was generally viewed as a ‘nice guy’ when I was overweight. I never annoyed people, and nobody picked any fights with me growing up. I was okay to hang around, and generally a good addition to a group.
but, few people accepted date requests from me, turned down requests to dances, or were unreceptive to advances. I know there are a lot of factors(these women were crazy 🙂 ) involved, but I have to pose a question, since this has been brought up in the other threads as well…

> It’s been shown by brain scans that the areas of the male brain associated with danger are activiated in the presence of ANY male, and very rarely a female. Ever notice that men that really get along with other men tend to be “beer dudes”? You very rarely see large groups of men co-existing without beer nearby. It’s WELL known that it’s hard to get drunk or even get a buzz from beer, especially if you drink it several times a week. Yet it’s the most popular social drink amongst men on the plan…

has anyone here(this includes you, Steve) who has lost a significant amount of weight rapidly(like, 2 lbs a day for a month), experienced an awkward ‘silence’ in one’s own skin, or depression?

things that did not matter to me before, now matter suddenly. such as how my body feels and what people say about me feel threatened. I find I have mood swings more often (not aggressive Rone swings, but sudden sadnesses) just general depression issues.

I’ve noticed when I spray on AndrosteRone, IG, CTTM, or Instant openness, my mood increases to what I remember as ‘normal’.

I have two oil products, BeauxGeste, and BeauxEssence, one is ‘androstArone’ in oil and the other is just ‘androsteNol’ in oil which I assume is Alpha androstenol.when I apply a little of those, its like I’m my old self once more.

pheros are external indicators of hormone levels and balance, so.. is it possible that those balances can fluctuate wildly or change completely? I would say yes, if it’s true that overweight people produce more estrogen.

if a body changes fast enough, is it possible these sudden hormonal imbalances can cause depressive or aggressive effects?

am I thinking too much?

Have you checked your thyroid? Hyper and Hypo thyroid symptoms also mess with your mood. So since you lost weight rapidly I wonder if your thyroid went through a little overworking state and messed/messes with your mood? As we all know the thyroid is the main thing that runs your metabolism, mood, and a lot of other vital parts of your body so who knows?

Did you intentionally lose weight, or did you lose weight without knowing the reason why? Were you eating healthy during the weight loss?

You need to rule out that the weight loss was not caused by clinical depression, or that both the weight loss and depression have some other underlying physiological cause.

If you haven’t seen a doctor, things that come to my mind that should be checked include thyroid and also blood sugar/insulin.

the weight lost was intentional. half of it was extreme exercise for a contest, the other half was heavily restricted food intake. stress was definitely a factor. I did eat proteins, vegetables and vitamins, tonnes of water during the entire weightloss phase. the restricted diet was still very balanced but near fasting-like portions.
I still excercised during that period but only moderate.

I dont have a problem getting to sleep at night, nor waking up in the morning.

I have not ruled out clinical depression. My insulin levels are normal(last checked at 105 IIRC) according diebetic testing. I was trying to get a feel for anyone experiencing a difference in mood after _intentional_ rapid weightloss.

I lost weight using a combination of Indian cinnamon and chromium. I noticed a lot more hits friendly conversation with both men and women. I noticed a quicker OD on the stronger stuff like TUTH and [Instant Jerk](https://a314.com/product/instant-jerk/). It seems like your body chemistry changes when combined with these 2 supplements. Maybe it varies from person to person. I also seem to attract the more out going loud just out of the military types. Just this past weekend I went pubbing clubbing with 3 navy guys and a college grad. Whoof! I thought I was a horny guy, but these dudes took the cake. Theses guys hit on everybody! Because of my mones they wanted to keep me around for good luck. I attracted the babes and they hit on them. This must be a form of phero vampirism. It must have been the P74 sample I used. I am a bit confused.

OH YEAH! The mood query? I also kind of felt strange in my own skin. I do feel super calm and healthy though. Maybe this is normal? Maybe I’ve been wandering around in a cloud for the past two years and this is normal or baseline for me? I know where you are coming from about the odd feeling.

2 pounds a day, sustained, is an advanced rate of weight loss. I went on a strick low-carb diet a couple years back and lost about 1 pound a day for about 5 weeks. I can tell you that the smell of my sweat and breath changed (an expected result from low-carbing). On some level, my personality changed a bit too - had much less drive. Just wanted to go home from work and sleep on the couch in front of the TV.

If your body believes you are starving, it has mechanisms to burn fat at a fast rate and slow you down so you dont use as much energy.
