Mammals have what is known as the Vomeronasal organ. This organ is responsible for detecting pheromones. It is believed to regress during human fetal development, but some people, as adults, have a smaller, but still slightly functional Vomeronasal organ. This is probably why animals react much more obviously to pheromones than humans.

It also seems to depend on exactly which pheromones are involved. There is a thread in the woman’s side that talks about this same subject.

MX274 Should be re-named

“Instant Kitty Love” My cat Max, who ALWAYS sleeps at my feet on the bed at night was snuggled up right next to me on my pillow last night. He was there all night. I usually shower in the AM, so I’m sure the MX274 I wore yesterday was still there. It was the only Phero I wore all day yesterday. Like I said, “Instant Kitty Love”
