# Wet or dry hair application

Wondering what difference there will be in applying some of the social products like [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/) or IShine to my hair if it is still damp from the morning shower? My assumption would be that it would take longer to diffuse but would otherwise be ok? Normally, in the morning, I am hauling out the door so the hair has a bit of gel after towel drying. I dont want to have to carry a bottle with me so I would prefer to spritz on before I go - same thing if I shower up for an event/date.

to be honest, I’m not really sure if there is a difference. however, you may get the same results by just spraying the [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) on your wrists/back of hands and/or neck/jawline. thus unless you have a huge beard or a lot hair on the back of your hands the point is rendered moot.🙄

depending on the length and density of your hair, I typically spray toward the neckline, half hair and half neck. but my hair is pretty short, and thus it dries quickly.

Spraying on damp hair, is ok, dripping wet is not suggested as your pheromones could run off and end up everywhere or anywhere and potentially nowhere near you.

I would not suggest application and then blow drying your hair, apply after heat drying or styling. As heat breaks down the pheromones.

i apply to my hair but only after towel drying (so still a bit damp) and styling.
