# What are human musks

Hi,

I noticed on your 30ml bottles of shine, and ammo. It says “human musks” What does this mean…

As far as I am aware that is just their Trademarked term to describe certain [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) that they produce. At least that’s the assumption I’ve always worked on. If you look at the bottom of the Androtics Store page it lists their Trade Marks.

Pheromones are Human musks basically. Some human molecules cause attraction but are not categorized as a pheromone.

Sort of like copulins, They do cause a reaction and we think of it as a pheromone but technically they are not a pheromone because they do not use the same pathways to evoke the reaction.
