# What are the 'prime' years in a man's life?

I am hitting 30 in a couple of months. As I am getting ‘older’ I see myself reflecting more and more on life and being a man.

My ‘prime’ years are still ahead of me right ?

And in your view, are there different prime years for:

Attractiveness to women  
Fitness  
Career  
Happiness  
Wisdom

What do you think?

Your prime sexual, fitness and attraction years start when your around 18/19 just after puberty completes for men and lasts to around 35 to 40 at which time your natural testosterone levels begin to slowly decline. Its like a snowball. The older you get the faster it rolls down hill unless you take measure to slow it from rolling. If you eat a good diet which is really hard in America because all processed food is tainted… _(its a wonder people worry about mones hurting them while they sit there eating food containing GMO’s pesticides and hormones)_ …and work to stay fit you can slow that snowball down so with work you can have more prime in front of you. 😉

Career happiness and wisdom can be acheived at any age.

I know kids that are wise beyond there years and older people that havent a clue.

You were born happy and that is a reality you create for yourself derived from how you see yourself and the world around you.

Your Career will be determined in how much wisdom and effort your put into working towards it in those prime years.

Your gonna be 30. Life is not nearly over. Your just opening a new chapter in the book of bolkie. What you fill it with is up to you.

Your best year is this year, wether you are 20, 30, 40 or 50. Why?

If you imagine your prime years are behind you, you’ll feel depressed and waste this year reminiscing about the past and regretting lost opportunities.

If you imagine your prime years are far ahead, you’ll put your life on hold.

Make this year your prime year.

Thanks girls. Your points make a lot of sense.

But to make things clear. I am not upset about turning 30. This is not a post asking for emotional support. I enjoy getting older quite a bit. My social, emotional and masculine learning curve is growing steeper everyday.

I am just curious about your views indeed.

E.g. why is it that some guys report higher rates confidence and success with the ladies in their 30’s vs. their 20’s ?

I am already seeing the effects of the slowing of the male metabolism around 30.  
Most guys are growing a belly for the first time in their lives. I am going the opposite way and am getting in the best shape of my life. This kinda feels good.

Because people have more life experience then they did in their 20’s. You realize from those experiences that the things that held you back in your 20’s are not as important as they seemed then. Those experiences give you a confidence and that confidence breeds success.
