# What are these pheromones made from?

So I haven’t received my first order yet its due to arrive today so I still can’t say whether these work or not. I’m curious as to how these [pheromones](https://a314.com/) are made. I came across an article stating that they are made from animals and theoretically should have no effect on humans seeing they are different than the ones we produce. They named off all of the different ones listed in these products when you read the ingredients they list and said they were derived from pig pheromones I believe. So I’m just curious it says they’re made using the best USA made ingredients except where stated so what are these made from are they synthesized or made from animals???

Virtually all of AD’s mones are synthetics from a variety of suppliers.

The only one I’m aware of that comes from an animal source is MEO-EST, which was only sold as an experimone and is often out of stock.

It should be synthesized if it can be as it’s the cheaper way to produce.

The starting point in vivo and probably in vitro is **cholesterol** except for copulins.
