I am a salesman and i want to know how close to a person do you have to be for them to inhale or smell the [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/), or in other words for pheromones to take effect? ---

a few years ago when I experimented with primal instinct I could see reactions within 4 to 5 feet but it might be different for each [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/) i’m still kind of new myself ---

Also is it necessary for someone to smell the pheromone for it to take effect? ---

In bars and club situations when its packed with all the competing scents, maybe 2 ft if that. Normally I can get the effects within 5 feet under normal conditions. Also within a 20 foot range for me (I’m by wall the girls always ask when they’re walking around, and not even near me, what is that that smells good) typically got that when wearing [MX297](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/mx297/) or AMMO. ---

I think it depends on the mones you are using. Some of them are pretty strong. The other variables are where you use it and the general temperature of the environment (the hotter the stronger the scent would be). I’ve tried [MX297](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/mx297/) (which is fairly strong) in a AC cooled bank setting, and I could see the effect within 6-7 ft (2 sprays on wrists and then dabbed them on back of my ears). No, I didn’t get any hits, but there was this cute asian lady behind the clerk counter about 7 ft away who started sneezing non stop as I deposit my check and stopped after I distanced myself from the counter :/.
