Hey guys. I’ve done some lurking and it sounds like FF20 smells ‘woody’, FF21 is ‘clean’, and FF22 is ‘aquatic’. But what does plain AMMO or A314 or IH / IShine / IO smell like? I typically don’t wear colognes and the people I around me have a very sensitive sense of smell (one friend smelled orange peel on me hours after I peeled and ate an orange). What do these [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) smell like? How strong is the smell? And is there a way to cover up the smell? AMMO comes scented in cologne strength, it comes scented in FF21. The AMMO [World Edition](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/world-edition/) which can be found in the experimental mixes section comes scented in FF22. A314 oil comes scented in Akuto, everything in the Instant line like IO, IH, and IShine for example comes scented in a very light Neroli (orange flower) scent which can easily be covered with your own cologne. TUTH and IJ, plus IG also come in Neroli. ---

Artificial mones smell like the natural body fluids they’re derived from: sweat, urine, sperm, vaginal fluids, ass, saliva, etc., and the bacteria that act upon them. It sounds bad but that’s what we naturally smell like. You won’t notice these scents unless they’re strong (no shower for 3 days!) or you’re very close (nose in crotch). The problem is the perception of scent varies considerably with race, age and sex. Many men can’t smell androstenone and yet it is one of the strongest smelling mones and is extremely evident to most women and animals (e.g., dogs & cats). For this reason some guys stink and don’t know it! Androstenone is similar to the funk of a Gold’s gym on a hot summer Saturday afternoon (no AC). When sweat and skin bacteria interact with androstenone it smells even worse, sorta like dead skunk. If you use very small amounts of mones, mimicking natural output you may be able to get away without using a cover (unless you sweat a lot). However, most of us use mones to amp up areas of our mone signature and tend to use way more than what’s natural. And that can stink and repel those with sensitive noses. In such cases it’s best to use a good cover (cologne or EO). If you don’t want to use a cover, you’ll have to endure people talking behind your back: “sheesh, that guy smells like ass and sweaty feet.” ---

Is that the same thing or was the scent changed at some point? Well, from what I know AMMO when it first came out came in a scent just called “AMMO” if I’m not mistaken. It was said to smell just like Nautica Competition (blue bottle.) However, it was then changed to the Game scent, which was also then changed to what it is now. The default AMMO in the store being FF21, but in the section where you will find the MXs they also have a “[World Edition](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/world-edition/)” that is scented in FF22. FF22 is _for me_ the best smelling one out of the two. ---

I would note that I find FF22 smells terrible. But I hated ff21 at the beginning, and honestly now I love it! ---

Do you guys regularly wear fragrances though? When you put on something like [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/), do the people around you notice the fragrance aspect of it? ---

I love cologne, and since AMMO is scented in cologne strength it is made to be smelled. [Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/) as I mentioned comes in a very light fragrance concentration and is therefore the reason why it can be covered with your own cologne. ---

Ammo is actually 10% fragrance concentration, or half of what normal colognes are ---

Well, I’m confused now. I was lucky to get the batch of AMMO FF22 when it was available for a short time. It was very strong and maybe fruity? But if the AMMO [World Edition](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/world-edition/) is FF22, then something’s not right. It smells completely different from my AMMO that says FF22. The WE AMMO smells kind of floral to me, not as strong as the other batch I got. ---

I need at least 4 sprays. If the scent was stronger it would be overwhelming although it seems really strong as is.
