# What do you like men to wear?

Besides nothing. I’m going to nip that one in the bud, I know the women here.😃 And no, this has nothing to do with alternative sexual practices, unless for some odd reason you prefer a guy to wear a gimp suit on a first date. This is what it looks like, no second or third parts, no theories to disprove. A lot of men honestly have no idea what a woman likes in clothing. _We_ may think we look good, but what do _you_ think looks good?

Basically, what does a man wear that makes you think “hey, he’s hot”? And let’s mix it up. Three specific situations:

1. Nightclub/night “scene”

2. At the mall, around town, etc.

3. On a date (say first or second, still in the “wooing stage”)

I know a lot can be said for an Armani suit, but I’m trying to keep it in the casual to “comfortable dressy” range. Sports coats are allowed, as are ties, but suits and tuxes would be a bit much.

I’m also looking for details, such as fabric types and colors, so if you love a guy in a red silk shirt let us know!

And if I left a situation out that you think bears mentioning, feel free to add it and what you like in that situation as well.

Finally, my disclaimer (aka the cover my ass clause): I know every woman is different, everyone has different tastes, some men look different in the same clothes, yada yada. I just want _your_ input, _your_ personal faves.

I’ve seen men dressed like sewer technicians get women. nice clothes never hurt, but don’t overestimate their power either.

for me blazer+cool tee shirt + jeans and appropriate excessories(watch, belt, golden tooth j/k) have done good work for me. keep the clothes on the brighter side of the color spectrum. I notice this is better for the dimly lit bar scene

Well dressed does not make a guy hot if he isn’t but it can help make him more attractive by highlighting his strong points and hiding minor flaws.

First is simply to avoid mistakes. Make sure clothes fit well, are clean, in good repair. Wear things that suit the occasion and flatter your build and colouring.

As for colouring; dark haired pale men tend to look good in black, blond men look goed in blues, tanned men in white or prints, auburn, freckly guys in earth tones. Dark and neutral clours are good for most guys, but it is nice to wear a shade that looks great on you near your face.

Crisp cotton shirts are always nice, they can be worn casually or dressed up with a suit or nice trousers. Other shirts with collars are also better than round necks, v-necks are girly. A sharp yet casual outfit can take you to quite a few places. In a crisp shirt and dockers for example, you can take a girl to the zoo, go to a pub, have lunch with friends and it works fine. Nice leather shoes always help, but suede sneakers are okay too during the day. Hip touches are good for nightlife, but it is best that the guy is reasonably handsome if you is going to wear something that attracts attention to his looks.
