# What do you suggest for a fourteen year old? Hello miliads, 14 is a difficult age and i speak this not only as someone who has been there but i was youth worker for many years and encountered many 14 year old with all the anxiety that arise from that age. Although i am using pheromones to add in my social anxiety which i have at varying degree since youth i would be reluctant to advise thier use. Your size is not a barrier to conversation however your perception that it is, is a big barrier. Using pheros will not make girls talk to you more if don’t have the social skills or confidence to respond, if you put that emotional barrier up. I have seen the confidence of young boys increase from nothing to being very social without pheros, this mainly due to ‘positive feedback’ and so building self esteem. Of course i can’t give this to you but would suggest finding an activity that you are good at or could become good at, nothing too geeky, this will raise your self esteem and if you find that something that is of interest to girls they will talk to you. My point is that pheros alone will not help, if you want to go the phero route then stick with the socials, IG IS IO and maybe IH. I have read that IH can lower social boundaries and this something i am noticing in myself. I’m guessing combining Instant Shine with either the [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/) or Instant Honesty isn’t that gre… The reason i am reluctant to recommend pheros to start with is that they can become a crutch rather than a helper. The use of alcohol and drugs when young has this effect in that a young person who uses these to overcome or hide from problems does not learn to deal with situation or emotional difficulties and thus when older and when trying to loose this dependency on drugs and alcohol they find themselves left with the same issues that had when young and what had caused them to use drugs and alcohol. I am not saying that pheros are the same as drugs and alcohol but the concept is. Between the age of 16 and 20 i had very bad acne but pulled the hottest girl in my friendship group, why? Because i made concious decision to just get out there and not hide, i used humour and bluff. Humour is good way to get interaction with others (girls) and will boost your confidence in speaking to them which in turn makes you more attractive, pheros can help but you have to make the effort as well. Ask yourself some questions about yourself, even put yourself in the shoes of the girls who don’t talk to you and see if you can work out why they don’t? Being aware and taking steps to move forward is a half the journey.
