[What Does Our Odour Really Mean (from The Herald )](http://www.theherald.co.uk/features/features/display.var.2468382.0.What_does_our_odour_really_mean.php)

Due to the websites copyright I cannot post it here, but the link will take you to it. As always more and more of the mainstream press and research community is coming to what we here at PheroTalk already know. [Pheromones](https://a314.com/) work!

Interesting point about the differing immune system being attractive, certainly makes sense from a genetic diversity perspective, I just wonder, with 6 billion on the planet, how far different can each of us be?

Are our phero signatures as diverse as our DNA in that every one is completely unique? If so then we really are just scratching the surface here.

“women’s libido increased by 50% when exposed to breastfeeding women”, funny , it does the same to me haha. interesting stuff in there about the scent of the air over skin covering tumors, i remember seeing a tv program years ago about dogs being able to detect tumors.

sounds like we are about to make a huge leap forward here.

“women’s libido increased by up to 50% when they were exposed to the pheromones of other women who were breastfeeding” actually sounds like we need some new ingredients in TUTH …

I believe this has been reported on already, and as such tested.😉

About 10,000 years ago there was an event (I’m having a brain freeze right now and don’t remember what it was called) that killed off most of the world’s human population. We were reduced down to as few as 1,000 people in the world. We lost a lot of that diversity.

In the form of what specifically…?

I was actually thinking more along the lines of fingerprinting or DNA testing for paternity tests etc. If there is a 1 in 5 billion chance of you having exactly the same DNA as me, does it therefore follow that we share the same phero signature or are we compounding the odds to, say, 1:25billion.

To put it another way. if 2 identical twins share exactly the same DNA, will their phero signature be different?

Breast milk. If I remember correctly, and at my age that might be an oxymoron, but I do recall someone testing breast milk as a potential [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/). I’ll see if I cant locate the post.

But breastfeeding may have another, more unexpected, benefit. Smells associated with breastfeeding are a natural aphrodisiac, heightening sexual desire in other women, a study has found. Researchers discovered exposure to the subtle odo…

Not sure how far along this actually went 😛

There has been a lot of research on this. A friend of mine had done some of it. The chances are the signature are the same. There was one study that found that a pair of twins that had been raised apart and had never met since birth had shared a lot of the same experiences and had the same tastes. They had even married women that looked and acted similar to each other and had the same number of children.

Also, if one twin is gay, the chances are greater than random chance the other will also be gay.

I see - I thought maybe Jasmin had synthesized some pheromone that replicated a lactating woman and we had been testing it in the form of a putative or MX. Maybe the secret ingredient to MX149 or something 😛 ([Breastfeeding smells 'put OTHER women in the mood for sex'](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/breastfeeding-smells-put-other-women-in-the-mood-for-sex/6079))
