Don’t count this if you are naturally alpha.

For me, it was LSD. I used to be the guy who always worried about everyone’s opinions, and it gave me confidence and basically showed me that if I want to be successful, I have to change myself. I made it my personal top goal to be alpha. That was almost a year ago. Now, I have found [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) and they are working wonders. I don’t even think I’m going to follow the cycle of quitting, as I have seen results already and I KNOW they work.

Confidence is a beautiful thing. I still have issues with it every now and then, but it seems LSD gave me a permanent boost, as I used to be a depressed worry-tard.

What about you guys?

Mushrooms help in that perspective too. Really force you to look at things and overcome social anxieties and the best part is they grow naturally. No worrying about the chemicals you’re putting into yourself.

Those also played a role in my confidence being restored. They taught me how stupid it is to worry about how I am looked upon by others (a second time), and just to be myself.

And for those of you who doubt the ability of psychedelics to do this for you, you must be going into trips with the wrong mindset. If you go in to learn, you will learn valuable lessons. If you go in to giggle, that’s all you will get.

I must also say, for the misinformed, that psychedelics, whether they are psilocybin mushrooms (no true psilocybin mushroom contains any poisons), LSD, or mescaline, are NOT harmful to you. They will not cause any damage to your sanity. You may have bad trips, but they WILL wear off, like anything else. Bad trips can be eased anyway and even stopped with the right precautions. Then again, alot can be learned from bad trips, too. Mainly, psychedelics just give you perspective. They taught me to see things as they are, rather than looking through the oh-so-enticing lens of emotions and society.

And wow, I’m rambling. But I do hope some of you get the point. My personal opinion is that they make you smarter, but I’d start rambling again if I went into it.

The Suit. That’s what started for me. It gave me a more confident demeanor around my coworkers and supervisors. Things have change since then. I no longer rely on the suit. But I’m just as confident as ever. Is anyone here going to suit up on New Year’s Eve?

I have been posting at a forum about psychedelics for a while now, and I have a year’s experience. I am combining my own experiences with the knowledge gained from there to say this. It’s all true information.

It’s like how I don’t need a Master’s degree to put on a band-aid.

I could just put a disclaimer up though 😃

I’m sorry but I dont agree its a good way to achieve confidence. Actually it shows lack of it IMO. I am not saying it didnt work for you but its not something I advise others to do.

Psychedelics are not chemically addictive but they can be addictive mentally depending on the user. Anything can be addictive. Some people hide in that imaginary world were reality is distorted. The lose themselves in the illusion.

They are not generally bad for your Health but they can be harmful to some people again depending on the users. People suffer poor memory and concentration, experience memories that are not real. Flashbacks and stress disorders

To give a blanket statement saying they are not addictive dangerous or harmful is a misconception and usually only something people say to justify there use. Before you say I am giving my opinion from a perspective of a non user. In my younger years I tried them more then once. Most spiritualists have. Hallucinogens were used quite often and yes most people grew up fine but there is that handful of people who ended up fucked up due to problems with there use. One kid I know even commit suicide after tripping and by all accounts he was a great kid with a huge future.

Extreme paranoia and fear. Some people dont gain confidence but sink deeper into depression after. You dont see things as they are but as you wish they are. Its a illusion of confidence only you can see not those around you.

Its not really how I would promote building confidence because everyone is not in the state of mind to acheive that though Hallucinogens.

My personal opinion is they make you think your smarter but thats the illusion isnt it.

All those bad trips can be prevented. Every. Single. One. It all depends on set and setting. The people you’re with, the mindset you are in, how experienced you are, how much you are doing, while going into it, and your location. A remote location in the woods, with maybe an experienced friend. Also, bad trips can be prevented on new users by starting them on a low dose, and increase it when they are comfortable. (not during the same trip, of course.) Put on light, familiar music that will put you in a good mood. Don’t blame the psychedelics, blame irresponsible people.

And if you think the confidence is fake…it isn’t. I’ve had a permanent confidence boost and complete change in my way of thinking. To say it is an illusion is a narrow statement, the visuals may be fake, but the wisdom and confidence gained is very real. Instead of doing it the hard way, I erase social anxiety in 6 hours, which would have taken a much longer time by going out and doing it your way. This allows me to make much more progress, in much less time, and I see things as they are. I am much happier afterward, I am at peace with myself, and satisfied with life. Before all that I was constantly fighting battles with myself in my mind.

Also, I know you may have taken it wrong due to me forgetting to add they are harmless if used correctly by responsible people.

I also forgot to add that threshold doses of mushrooms during social situations can greatly increase confidence. As they will not cause bad trips at those low doses, they will increase your mood, and have a tonic effect on your brain, dissipating anger. Repeated use could create positive behavioral feedback loops. It’s a much safer way of doing it.

Confidence comes from overcoming obstacles and having some success of achieving one’s desirable goals. It applies to pretty much all aspects of life, including picking up women. Those who do it and succeed at it a few times start to believe in himself, and overtime he becomes confident too.

Or go through the social “pains” and earn your confidence and built it, instead of relying on a mind altering drug to do it.

Granted we use pheromones, but that still doesn’t take the edge of approach. You can only do that through repeated processes.

Confidence in anything takes time and takes doing it over and over again to acheive that.

That’s another misconception. Yes you can take steps to prevent them or make them less likely but every single one can not be prevented. You cant predict when they will occur either they just do. It depends much on the persons subconscious thoughts and there natural chemical makeup.

Bad trips are like Russian roulette. You can control the likelihood of getting shot by only putting one bullet in the gun but eventually if you keep pulling the trigger the gun will stop on the right chamber and blow your brains out.

> [@](#):
>
> And if you think the confidence is fake…it isn’t.

I am not saying your confidence is fake or that it didnt work for you. I am glad you are at peace with yourself. I am not judging you for taking them, as I said I tried them myself and never had a bad trip but I didnt learn a thing other then you can escape reality from the experience.

A lot of young people read this forum who have social anxiety and just like I dont tell them pheromones are the answer to all there social problems I dont want them thinking that drugs are either. Your state of mind and social anxiety may not have been as deep seeded as some peoples here. You may have been able to do it in 6 hours but thats not going to be the case for everyone and there are some people who may even sink deeper into there anxiety.

If you know me you know I am not narrow in my thinking or my statements. Every aspect in life has its polar opposite including taking drugs. To say there is very little risk involved is narrow. There is risk involved and people should be aware of those risks before taking that road.

> [@](#):
>
> which would have taken a much longer time by going out and doing it your way.

There is no my way. I make suggestions depending on the person and there issues and needs. Some of those suggestions may very well be harder and longer but the lessons learned are real and lasting. They are what builds a persons character. You can get to your destination taking either road but one person will be more armed and prepared to deal with life’s stresses and the other will only have there crutch to fall back on.

You cant erase anxiety but through facing it the hard way you can understand it and therefore control it. Drugs just mask it and when it rears its ugly head as it does in all of us throughout life the lessons learned will sustain you. If you obtain it through drugs the only way to control it is to take more drugs. That is part of the illusion and it doesn’t apply just to psychedelics but to all mind altering drugs even those prescribed by doctors.

As for bad trips and the like “wearing off” chemicals get stored in bodyfat and remain inactive for years, then one day your body decides to burn a few extra calories worth of bodyfat and low and behold you experience what is referred to as an “acid flashback”.
Common enough among 60’s flower children that it was actually given a name. So stating that there are no long term effects is inaccurate. And depending on where you are and what you’re doing when such a flashback occurs it can in fact be quite dangerous so again stating that it’s harmless is inaccurate. Imagine dropping acid today and a year from now you’re interviewing for a job…you’re a little nervous so your body temp goes up and your heart races a bit, your body goes for it’s fat stores and suddenly you’re frying. It doesn’t even have to be an intense trip for it to be harmful. Simple tweaks of depth perception or time distortion can cause you to fall down a flight of stairs or step in front of an oncoming car. Since such an occurance would be unexpected it’s not likely that you’d have a babysitter handy to walk you through your flashback trip.

That’s actually a myth. People have experienced “flashbacks” but it’s very rare and has nothing to do with LSD lying dormant in your body fat or anywhere else in your body.

I used to do some LSD back in the days that I followed the Grateful Dead around the country. Back then I knew one of the only 7 legitimate sources in the US (I still know him). I absolutely do NOT advocate taking LSD anymore. Not because it doesn’t work to help overcome fear and social anxieties, it does, but because of the dangers of not getting LSD and the junk they now sell. LSD does not make you speed, meth does. LSD makes you trip like you wouldn’t believe 🙂

However magic mushrooms are now the subject of countless studies and science data concurring they absolutely have properties for overcoming fear. [Hallucinogens as Medicine : Article : Scientific American](http://www.nature.com/scientificamerican/journal/v303/n6/full/scientificamerican1210-76.html)

Do a search on Google and opened to you will be a doorway to the studies. So while I do not advocate any illegal drug usage, there is merit behind psilocybin in overcoming social disorders. Years ago it was said that marijuana would cause mass rape, murders and what not and the only reasoning behind it was that you could control the growth of tobacco and therefore its taxation. Unfortunately truth be told marijuana is the cause of violence, murder, and just bad karma. Not because of the substance but because of the now illegal trade of said substance.

I’m an advocate that in this great nation I call home, the good old US of A, we are the most restricted, the most taxed nation in the world. People should be allowed to do what they want in their own home and no one should be able to say crap. Once it comes out of the home that’s another story. So yeah I’m an advocate of legalizing drugs in this country but only those that grow and not have to be processed.

I did my share of illegal substances throughout my life, but its illegal and I don’t advocate breaking the law. There are other ways that you can go about overcoming fear and anxieties most of them are healthy and legal. Brain entrainment using bi and tri neural beats is one of my favorites. I just bought The Morey Method so I now have access to that. Its quite a program, but very expensive and as such prohibitive to many.

I have the Conversational Hypnosis programs from Igor and his complete Hypnotherapy DVD course. Excellent stuff in overcoming fear and building confidence. Same with David DeAngelo’s Deep Inner Game and RSD’s Flawless Natural. Seriously I have just about every eBook on Game and CD/MP3 on empowering oneself. Hypnotica, Wayne Dwyer, Abraham (Esther Hicks) I got it all. Spent a FORTUNE too. I strongly believe everyone should be properly compensated for intellectual property rights, but I was also raised to share. If anyone wants to share something I don’t have for something of comparable value that I do have I’m open to suggestions. PM me.😉

Yes, I do believe there are natural substances that are healthy and wise to use to overcome fear, which makes one more confident. Mushrooms is very high on that list. Its illegal and therefore should not be used. If legal then it should be used under close supervision of a trained therapist. There are people in this world who care about making a buck. If it don’t grow I don’t want it, except beer. Seeing I make my own beer I’m OK with that too.

I haven’t done enough studying to know whether LSD chemicals are released from fat loss. I’ve done it and I’ve lost fat and never had any bad flash-backs. Truth be told as I understand it LSD is accumulated in the spine and only a spinal tap can determine if its still there. Personally I don’t know and of all the people I’ve met and know who have done LSD I can’t recall a single person that ever had a flashback. I also don’t know a single person who drowned. Think about it.

I say use caution and stick to the legal stuff. I don’t think mushrooms are harmful at all. I think LSD could be dangerous unless you know the source and that does not mean the dealer. I mean the person making it and I can bet you don’t. Stay Healthy and wise 😃

Here you go Steve: [Read Maxwell Maltz Psycho Cybernetics Online Free | Education | YUDU](http://www.yudu.com/item/details/63534/Maxwell-Maltz--Psycho-Cybernetics)

Also I’ll probably take you up on that offer of sharing information. 😉

I am just starting Psycho Cybernetics, well started it about a month ago but with the Holidays and working in a grocery store, wow just got lost in all the hustle and bustle. But from what I’ve read so far I like. I’ve started with some of the exercises in there.

One of the exercises I’m just now focusing on is finding people to model for particular attributes. As I said I just started, but some of the attributes I am working on and the people I want to emulate:

Leadership: John Maxwell
Motivation: Tony Robbins
Attitude: Hypnotica 🙂
Spirituality / Sexuality: David Deida
Health: Tony Horton

Just a start, but an exciting one.

Alright Tisha, I think I came across as an ass earlier, sorry about that. I was kinda shoving my beliefs about them in your face, and I apologize. I stand by my beliefs though. I do still think they can and will work for everyone, when used properly.

Bad trips can also be a good thing, they force you to face your fears head on and deal with them. I think that going through bad trips has allowed me to keep a level head in more normal situations.

Also, LSD is not stored in fat because it is not fat soluble. It isn’t stored in spinal fluid, either. It goes straight to your serotonin receptors, where it binds and causes psychedelia. The mechanisms behind psychedelia are unknown, but it does not drill holes in your spine or make your brain bleed or any of that nonsense. Afterwards, it is excreted by the body.

LSD itself can be dangerous to certain people, as I forgot to add earlier, as it is in the ergot family of psychedelics. All ergot psychedelics seem to have vasoconstricting effects, and can be dangerous for people with high blood pressure. They can also cause premature births and abortions in pregnant women. Other than that, they’re fine in the long term.

All ergot psychedelics seem to have vasoconstricting effects, and can be dangerous for people with high blood pressure. They can also cause premature births and abortions in pregnant women. Other than that, they’re fine in the long term.

LOL\>\>\>\> Hugs \>\>\> ((((Dr\_Phail))))) I dont think your being a ass. We are just having a discussion. I am not saying your wrong in your opinion.

I am making sure others are aware that while there are benefits there are also risks. I think people should look at the positives and negatives, do a little research and weigh for themselves if its something they want to try or not. I just get a little concerned when both the negative and the positives are not discussed because some people take things at face value and dont do the research.

Or you could try holotropic breathing. It is supposed to give a similar trip to LSD and it is essentially hyperventilating.

Tisha, your equilibrium is off. Your hug was lopsided a bit. I’ve told every girl that I know that one boob is always bigger than the other. Now we know which one of Tisha’s is.🙂

Not that my boobs are exactly the same size of anything. I think the right one may be a little smaller or more firm 😃
