# What is perfumers alcohol?

So I bought some perfumers alcohol to dilute a putative I bought. I just wondered what exactly is the perfumers alcohol blend sold by AD?

The one I have is a blend of ethanol, isopropyl myristate and propylene glycol. But the stuff stinks of alcohol, is this covered up by the [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/) additive or does it evaporate quickly?

Pretty much all perfumers alcohol is made from pure SD40 alcohol this is high grade purified ethanol.

These two should not be in perfumers alcohol.

isopropyl myristate is a emollient used to soften skin or help products absorb.

propylene glycol is a solvent thats not to good for the skin. Its used in anti freeze.

Androtics uses 190 proof organic perfumers alcohol with nothing added that can be harmful.

If you cant find a good perfumers alcohol just use ever clear or 100 proof or better vodka.

Thanks for the info, I bought my dodgy concoction before I knew AD sold proper stuff! Oh well, it wasn’t expensive!

Should learn to research properly in future!
