Kind of a “newbie” post, but we all start somewhere, right?

I’m totally fascinated that this world of pheremones is verifiable and people are getting astounding results from them. I think this may become my new professional hobby!

I have surfed this vast forum over the past 3 days absorbing what I could and I’m learning lots, but there are some points of confusion that perhaps you could help answer.

I’m a pretty curious and comprehensive person by nature when it comes to learning things. I like to learn all I can - immersion.

And pheremonology (is that the right word?) is highly fascinating to me. I now often wonder if those inexplicable crushes I had on some people were the results of my olfactory system twitching in response to some “laced” perfumes… 🙂

If this is true, then the implications are truly staggering. But I’ll get to that in another post.

My questions revolve around the Putatives (items that start with “P” I presume, like P91 or something) and the MX items. There are so many of them!

Here are my questions:

1. What do they all DO? Lol - I don’t expect a comprehensive answer to that in this thread since there are so many of them, but is there some centralized “Bible” or reference I can go to in order to understand what all of the different “potions” do?

Many of the items in the store don’t have a description of what they do (not complaining, just curious as to why). Reading through all of the posts and blogs has left me bewildered, overwhelmed (in the best of ways, I love feeling those emotions) and totally fascinated by this whole thing.

1. What is the main difference between the prefixes “P” and “MX” ?
2. Are the Ps and MXs in the higher numbers typically “upgrades” of lower numbered versions? If so, is there a way to cross-reference them?
3. Similar to 3 above - are all the P##s really just subtle variations on the same basic formula? Same question for MX###s.
4. What is the significance of “micrograms”? I noticed that some putatives have 2.5 mcgs all the way up to 5000 mcgs. May sound silly, but why is this important? I assume it has to do with concentration of the pheremone itself or it’s relative intensity. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
5. In tandem with #4 above, why would I want to spray 5000 mcgs on myself, or should this be used in conjunction (split up, perhaps) with other mixes? I don’t want my entire city having a gigantic orgy a la _Perfume, the Story of a Murderer_ if I spray it on myself\*.\* (Come to think of it, that might not be so bad if the Swedish women’s volleyball team is nearby… 🙂 )
6. Do the pheremones affect you, the wearer, in the same way it affects others? Take TUTH, for example. It’s supposed to make others horny. Does it turn you on as well? I understand this may be worn by men more than women, so I presume that it is targeted toward activating the libido in females. However, I’m curious if it also gets the male protagonist worked up. (Feel free to describe other mones that have an effect on the wearer, not just TUTH).

My uneducated guess would be “it depends.”

This science/art is one of the most fascinating topics I’ve come across in recent years. It’s amazing to me that a simple smell on a human being can be used to influence behavior in such a profound manner. Sure, I always knew it was a predominant factor in the animal kingdom, and humans are part animal - BUT - based on what I have read so far, I never knew it could have this much of an effect. Always thought it was just hocus pocus marketing.

Kind of making me rethink a few instances in my own life when I had sudden urges or attraction to people I wouldn’t normally consider my type. Freaky!

Thanks for taking the time to read and answer! I look forward to your thoughts.

I am not trying to be rude but a lot of these questions have been answered many times before and if you read the info in the sticky section of the mens area you will find the answer to most of these questions.

As far as what the different products do - you can only learn by reading. There is no single source for every product here. But the threads in the sticky sections will help with the core products. You can also do a search under my username on the threads I have started and get some info on say the difference between A314 and [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/) amongst other things.

But here goes on most of it anyways:

Androtics does a lot of research. The pheros they sell fall under three main areas:

The consumer or “Instant” line. Pheromones that have pretty much the same results every time. You have to figure out which ones work best for you, how they work best, conecentrations (1spray, 2 sprays, whatever)

Much of what they sell us is the form of research. You buy something that they want to try out and you report on it. They keep track of our results plus their own private testing. This is often the P or Putative products. Something that may or may not be a pheromone. something that may or may not show much in the way of results. They do not tell us so as to skew the testing. You have fun and maybe find something you really like.

Then there is the MX line - these are mixes of known products and/or putatives. Same idea. We test and report. and have fun in the process.

The higher the number does not necessarily mean they are more advanced versions of earlier products - although they could be. Then again it could just be a new mix. They have to have some way of keeping track of things. Again - blind testing - although sometimes they give out little hints to drive up interest.

Micrograms tells you concentration of pheromones. Different concentrations work well for different people - everyone’s personal chemistry is different based on sex, age, and even ethnicity. You have to figure out what works well for you based on your personal experimentation. They may offer products up to 5000 mcg. The highest concentration I use is 30mcg and that is so I have a set base to operate from when I do my own mixes as I use my empty blue 30 ml bottles to mix in.

Quite often the pheros will affect the wearer at first until you get used to them. While none can drive up sexual attraction in females under the right circumstances (it can just as easily scare them away depending on the circumstances) it generates feelings of aggression and even belligerance in males. To sometimes include the wearer. For me the aggression takes the form of social aggression - I am more outgoing, more likely to approach or start conversations with people I do not know. I sometimes am even more likely to cuss a stupid driver under my breath.

However, too high a dose of none on a wearer can create anything from verbal to sometimes even physical aggression from the guys around him. The more “alpha” a guy is the more likely he is to react to the none you are wearing.

Great answers. Yes, I know there are answers around the forum. The questions I asked were actually the result of me doing pretty in-depth searching. Seems there were many different answers to the same types of questions. I was seeking a more “distilled” version of what is out there, but you’ve summed it up pretty nicely. 🙂

Thanks for the insights.

Before you do anything regarding Putatives are single molecules that may or may not have pheromone like qualities, MX’s and experimental test mixes of both tried and true [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) and putatives. In all honesty while they are available for general public consumption (I don’t mean ingesting it) their released particularly for research purposes.

You can become a reporting user, or member of the “Pheromone Detective Squad” after you’ve been posting reports on your experiences for a while in which case you can buy putatives and MX’s for a substantially cheaper price than is available for regular users. Best way to do this is to buy to-go sized bottles of the main consumer line products and alternate between the masculine None and Rone products vs the socials while testing them as standalones.
There’s a post on the board about finding your sweet spot, follow it alternating between socials and sexuals so you not only get a sense of where your ideal application dose is, but also to get a sense of how different mones create different reactions in people. Once you have a handle on learning to identify peoples body language and understanding what a hit looks like as well as how an IO hit differs from an IH hit and IH from say TuTH, then you’ll have enough of the basics down that you can try playing with MX’s and putatives.

I mean you can do it now if you like but they are more expensive if you’re not considered a reporting user and they don’t have a money back guarantee. They’re experimental and thus AD does NOT promise desired results, they’re actually trying to get a sense of the results.

Great. I will follow the “sweet spot” article once I purchase more items. Thanks for the insight.
