# What is the scent A314 gives?

My question:

What is the current A314 “Oil” scent? Is it [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/), some combination of it, altogether something else?  
Is it available as a separate purchase?

A314 oil is in [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/) with extra plant musks. However due to various factors, including the component mones, the scent can vary a bit from batch to batch. Which has never been a problem - In fact, I have got my strongest, most frequent and most overwhelmingly positive scent hits from Rev 23/Batch 17, which was near-universally panned as “smelling like ass” or “a bit like glue” when first released.

You can get Akuto scented DPG in the store under the mixing supplies tab but the plant musks option is no longer available and it looks to have been OOS for a while - I had no luck when trying to buy some well over a year ago when the option was still listed.

I just got my first order of a314(oil based) in. To me it smells like burnt glue lol
