> You can, you’ll have to do it regularly, but it won’t remove the effects entirely. You’ll get a core or diluted effect, but truly exceptional “special effects” will be removed or muted in most cases. Sort of like getting the milk, but not the cream on top.

> For example, Androstadienone makes me depressed pretty much every time in the following way: I get negative thoughts about my position socially or at work or whatever - the same negative thoughts seem to reappear every time I wear it. I also get tired when wearing it - it seems to diminish my enthusiasm to tackle tasks. So what do I do? When I am wearing the Androstadienone and suddenly become depressed and ‘slow/mellow’, I realise that my negative thoughts are caused by this pheromone and things will get better when I wash it off. However I need to keep the Androstadienone on to keep this woman from getting aggressive at me or to keep on her good side as there has been a lot of tension between us and she is my bossy flatmate! I also might take a mild stimulant (say a tea or a vitamin B complex) to get me through tasks that need to be done if I am tired from the Androstadienone.
>
> Same thing with -None. I realise I am snappy and aggressive because I am wearing -None so I make a major conscious effort to smile more and be more patient and respectful of people.

The above has pretty much been my experience too.

> Hey, Pheroquirk. Nice to see you around. slight_smile No, I was referring to self-effects only. The acute effects on others are as strong as ever with these two. The most profound self-effects I get to any new pheromone are usually on the first 10 exposures or so. If I don’t use A1 or -none for awhile, I still do quite a pronounced self-effect… but as intense as my own response is, it’s still not as dramatic as my my very first exposure to commercial levels of A1 or -none many years ago. I…

BTW there is gold in MHarris’s old posts. Well worth rereading when time.
