We would love to answer your question, but this is the wrong section for it to be in, so it’s unlikely to get good answer. If you repost in either the Men’s section or the Theory section of the forum, I’m sure you’ll get plenty of educated and helpful responses.

Simply put, the difference between human and animal pheromones is that they only really work in their respective organisms. A human is unlikely to have a strong physiological response to boar or deer musk, but a boar or deer will go into heat and try to seek out the producer of the musk so they can mate. Similarly, human pheromones are unlikely to affect animals to a great extent, although some users have reported their pets acting differently when they were wearing pheromones.

[Synthetic pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) are just pheromones, human or animal, which have been created in a lab, rather than extracted from the organism itself. This is how most pheromone products are created, as it would be very expensive, time-consuming, and inefficient to attempt to extract pheromones from human excretions (such as sweat.) A lab is able to create these molecules through a series of chemical reactions to produce a large amount of relatively pure pheromone molecules.

There is no chemical difference between a pheromone molecule produced by an actual organism and the same type of molecule produced in a lab, and both will work with equal effectiveness.
