Just curious as some of my products smell funky now…kinda like cat piss. I’ve been storing them away from heat, light as well though…

Your mones are probably fine, its the scent package that may have degraded just leaving the smell of mones.

Thanks! That’s a relief…is there anything I can do to replace/enhance the scent?

Just use a cover scent.

Pheros themselves keep for years in reasonably temperate conditions. Its more light that does for them, so dark storage is best.

I’ve had some phero’s around for years and find that some even work better now.

Have you noticed a change in scent? Also some change color to a yellowish hue. Do you guys have any explanations regarding that?

Yup, all that can happen and some mixes change faster than others but the performance of the pheros themselves remains good. 🙂

Whoa whoa whoa…I’m curious about this!!! Which ones? Do you think it is some sort of aging process, or are you just better at incorporating them into your behavior and presentation? Cause I’m totally willing to buy some to put back - I already do that with wine.

The only reason I can see for them working better would be if the carrier has evaporated and the mones become more concentrated per spray.

That makes sense. From what I’ve read on here and elsewhere, most [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) are fairly stable molecules, yes? At least until broken down by heat, light, or bacteria.

Mostly oils that I notice a difference. I still have two full bottles of A314 i picked up two years ago. Oil colour seems the same, course a drop on my finger is difficult to tell. Oils are know to degrade with time but that should’nt affect the mones but may affect their dispersion rate.

I have never found any changes with alchohol based mixes.
