Molecule K: Tak Togo

[Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/) 20%

2 1/2 sprays

Well, I sprayed this stuff on just a little bit ago and I am getting a WEIRD effect from it…

It’s like my subconscious mind is on overdrive, that’s the only way that I can explain it… it literally feels like I’m being ‘pulled’ to do things by my mind (As in accomplishing tasks and really focused on getting them done, then doing the next one).

This is super strange. It reminds me a bit of A314.

Havent tested it around Chelle yet as she’s napping.

I read that this stuff makes people TIRED. I’m feeling anything but tired, more like… brain says get this done, brain says get next thing done, now hop to it!!!

Anyone ever had this effect?

Very different response than what I always got from TAK. It was like everything was silly and I just didn’t care what was happening. I’m really excited about your report. This could mean a more serious person, like I take you to be, can use it to attack the subconscious in getting things done. Someone silly like me it makes me just forget all my conscious effort to get things done and triggers a subconscious effect to relax and do the things I want to.

Makes me want to try some of this, maybe I could actually get my homework done with out waiting till the last minute. What I really want is a bunch of NZT.

If anxiety, and the unpleasant nature of the task was holding one back, the anti-anxiety effect of TAK could explain the effect you noticed.

My underlining below.

> [@tacitus](#):
>
> **Initial TAK observation** TAK seems to have a musky aroma that resembles porcini mushrooms, earthy, workin’ guy… what the Frogs call _terrior_ (a quote:“Terroir is a useful, but hard-to-define term, coined by the French. It refers to the site-specific differences in wines that are caused by factors such as soil types, drainage, local microclimate and sun exposure”)… sociable material, appears to help remove layers of the false self/social artifice… one is more natural, more comfortable in one’s skin…
>
> Sprayed on 20 mu last night during a stretch of bored insomnia, found myself comfortably laying there, rather at peace with the whole situation, and chose to entertain my mind with high class erotic fantasies until I drifted off to sleep at 5:00 a.m…
>
> Got up and went to do some Alexander Technique, my teacher (who is good) was unusually “on” and well attuned to the work, we got plenty done with a minimum of distracting mental crapola…
>
> Another teacher in the space was pleasantly agreeable, again dropping many of the “social twitches”, as did the client following me.
>
> This is only a preliminary TAK report, I think I sense the TAK influence well established in A314, being at ease with others without the demanding qualities that overtly romantic or erotic pheromones possess…
>
> Frankly, on a first date or early phases of a relationship, if this TAK experience holds up as a repeatable thing, I’d go for TAK boosted A314 with beta-Androstenol. A314 + beta-Androstenol is my current best of show mix for general social purposes, having people be candid with me, good clear interactions, mind opening rather than mind tightening… getting the hologram of the person instead of beaming in too specifically on a single quality..
>
> TAK might even add a nice fragrance boost to some of the awesome mixes in use already, Earth Dad stuff.😕

> [@](#):
>
> **TAK appears to be a NMDA receptor antagonist** tonight I pulled out the stops and blasted myself with 150 [mu](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microgram) of straight TAK, nothing else. At high doses it behaves like a mild dissociative, strong enough that there can be no mistake about what it is doing, though not so strong as to be problematic.
>
> Raising firing threshold for NMDA neurons can be a good thing, some anti seizure medicines do this, it has a calming, stabilizing, pain reducing quality… TAK without an oily fixative is also a volatile pheromone which clears relatively quickly.
>
> One could see this working effectively with [androstenone](https://a314.com/product/turn-up-the-heat-tuth/) as it would probably take the edge off the -none, however, [androstenone](https://a314.com/product/turn-up-the-heat-tuth/) is a more slowly diffusing material, thus the calmative effect of TAK may vanish before the complete impact of the -none has been run through.
>
> With high TAK, in various social contexts, subway cars, acting class, people in general were less turfy, less threatened. Combined with other pheromones this may result in being pro-social if lingering fears or discomforts are softened.

> [@](#):
>
> [TAK](https://pheromonelabs.com/) is probably the least pheromone like of all the Androtics experimones… I wouldn’t use it as a communication inducer. [TAK](https://pheromonelabs.com/) is almost like an anesthetic, one might use it in small quantities to add a calmative note… for straight up connection feelings nothing beats and mix of alpha and beta [nol](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/) … should you want to make it warmer, less threatening still, then add some [TAC](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/molecule-c/) . [TAC](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/molecule-c/) is warm and inviting, where [TAK](https://pheromonelabs.com/) is somewhat indifferent…early rumors about [P74](https://a314.com/product/p74/) suggest it would be a good add-in as well.

If Androtics does indeed choose to send an NMDA antagonist as a freebie with other items, then I feel a good bit less safe with their products, considering the known dangers with abuse…

(Just ordered my very first item, IH to go, and got a nice free bottle of TAK 5mcg/spray…but seriously I don’t want to be giving my friends permanent cognitive deficits)

EDIT: To clarify, I am holding on to a neutral opinion about AD for the moment. People seem to like them. I’m just wary of drug dealers. 😉

EDIT #2: No longer neutral. Long sigh. I GUESS I’ll trust you…

I remember that post. It’s someone hypothesizing, nothing more. While I don’t doubt that Tacitus was able to make a fair comparison, there are a couple of things about that. One, I gather he tended to use [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) in _amazingly_ high doses - he was kind of a shaman’s path kind of guy from what I understand. Two, there’s not really a strong body of work about the effects of _any_ of the pheromones, although that’s more true for some than others. They’re new, it’s a fairly young field of study and a lot of people believe they’re pure hokum anyway. (Personally, I don’t, but all I have to back that up is a very long string of suspiciously consistent anecdotes. So, you know, evidence enough for me but I’m not going to be publishing any papers in peer-reviewed journals any time soon)

If anyone knew for certain that these were having these specific effects, it’d be a different story. Educated guesswork is still guesswork. So…I wouldn’t worry too much just yet. 😃
