# When it says double strength or Quadruple...

Why double or quadruple strengths are offered? If we spray twice or four times it increases the strength. I know I’m missing something. Please educate me on this matter.

Its for people whose sweet spots are higher - Older people mainly for products like [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) and TUTH - age has direct implications on the amount of Androstenone needed for an effective dose. Or for mones/mixes that can use higher doses when used in a primary role eg socials like IO IS or IH. They need fewer sprays to reach the effective dose.

Then the stronger versions become a useful economy and scent control measure.

Best advice is to find your effective doses with the standard product first, then if the number of sprays works out, move-up to the stronger product on subsequent purchases.

Four sprays of Ammo can get overpowering scentwise real quick, that’s a fact. The price tag seems heftier for 2X and 4X, but when you do the math, they actually are the best bang for your buck if you often need 2 or 4 sprays of a given product.

It’s also possible to achieve approximate half-sprays (and that’s easier with 30 ml bottles) and get equivalent 1X strength from a 2X bottle or 2X strength from a 4X bottle, this really pushes the economy to the stratosphere if you don’t mind losing a bit of precision on the dose.
