I’ve been doing some mixing again lately and I am curious how one would actually mix in one bottle. Say as an example I normally would spray:
2 xyc
3 bbb
2 nnn
1 xpp

And let’s say rather than having to bring all those bottles into a club or somewhere I wanted to add it to one bottle, how would one go about doing this?

The tricky part is not taking each individual spray into the bottle but ensuring each spray is dosed with the equivalent molecule combination as if it were individually sprayed.

By mixing the formula together as mentioned above would that mean you would spray 8 times to get the same affect and what would be the guarantee that even then it would be the same dose.

Can anyone help with this? I’m sure others would probably want to know as well.

I’ve never done it but I would think that the proper way of doing it would be to use a dropper and add drops of each [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/) to a clean bottle in the appropriate ratios and then shake well.

As to the number of sprays, intuitively I would again think that 8 sprays in your example would be correct.

That does sound logical, but what I was thinking Thalion, was what if you mixed an entire bottle up. I guess the ratios would obviously be equivalent to the size, but how could you be certain you are still obtaining the desired mcg?

Anyone?

200 sprays per 30 ml bottle. I use a 2.5ml syringe and green BD needle to measure out amounts. TBH the math does confuse me (even before the fumes hit) so I work everything out on a spreadsheet beforehand.

I agree … That’s a great idea to use a spreadsheet to work out the amounts! You don’t know how hard it is to hand calculate everything and get your 4:1:7 ratios right, even with a TI calculator! I wish I had thought of it, but I doubt I could come up with anything worthwhile! 😉 😛

Steveo, try using the 3.5ml plastic pipettes that are sold in the mixing supplies section on the website. You can work in units of milliliters as long as your ratios are consistent. As long as you add the quantities correctly during the mixing process, your applications will be correct since components dissolved in solution will be uniformed distributed (shaking and stirring helps too!).

Be aware that mixing requires a lot of patience and time … and then more time … and patience … did I mention time? If you think mixing 4 components is tedious and time consuming, wait until you reach 30+ components! 😮 😮 😮

Have you no shame?!?!? 😮 You might as well share your mix, SteveoPoo! 🙄

It just makes sense to spray it all in one bottle, and use 8 sprays. The only thing that may lessen it, is whatever else is in the products to make them difuse quickly/slowly … that could probably cause the other product **s** to malfunction, yes? :o

Some damn good advive here…

It would seem that my calculations are correct though as far as using a pipette though. If you want 2 ml (example) you use 2 ml and so on.

What I’m confused about is the spread sheet, I’m not sure why would you need that. Is it just to record the ml of each molecule or is it to calculate?

Sorry but I’m not that smart!

The way I understand it is if you are trying to use

2 of a
3 of b
2 of c
1 of x

You would just put them all into a bottle at that ratio. The problem then lies in how many sprays you will need to get the proper dose.

Like Thalion said you’d have to use 8 sprays to get one dose. There are roughly 5 drop (perhaps 6) in a full spray. each spray is going to be a diluted version of what you put in the bottle.

So lets say that you want to get the spray number down. This gets complicated. You have to work with higher concentrations and take volume into consideration to get an ending volume of proper concentration for one spray.

This is a bitch and takes simultanious equations where you have to make both equations based on your end product and I always get confused along the way. I dread this type of calculation. I don’t think i’ve successfuly completed it once. I feel for the androtics chemists.

I’m going to have to learn it soon enough. When I take the time to get it right, i’ll post the details on how to do it.

I may be missing something here, but it would seem to me one measure we need is the volume amount of a single Androtics “regular” bottle spray. The dosages are measured in “x” concentration/spray, so to make sure you get the concentration you want in the bottle you need to know how much is in each component of your mix.

Also, especially if using a scented product, you might need to order higher concentrations of the componenet parts (otherwise you may faint from the strength of the scent). If you use 3 components at 10mcg/spray each, that means each mixed spray would only have 3.33mcg of each/spray, correct? So you would need to apply 3 times the “usual” amount. (Math is NOT my strong point.)

You are right. That negates the need for simultanious equations, but you have to have the standard concentration high enough that when all the products are diluting each other your end product it at proper dosage.

So if you have to use 1 part of a @2.5mcg per spray and 3 parts of b @2.5mcg per spray, the concentration of a and b that you would need to mix will have to 4 times greater in order to get 2.5mcg of a and 7.5mcg of b per spray.

ok, let me simplify that. If C is your end product, and you want to have a total of 10mcg per spray of a 1:3 ratio a:b. In order to do this, you have to have use a 10mcg per spray solution of a and b mixed in the 1:3 ratio in order for 1 spray to have 10mcg of [pheromones](https://a314.com/). The catch is that you have 4 parts. Each part dilutes the other part with it’s alcohol. Since the atomizers volume is fixed the concentrations have to be multiplied by the total number of parts of equal concentration.

Oh man, this is too much math! 😮 I don’t think I could ever come up with anything remotely as complicated as this. I think I’ll leave the hard number crunching to the professionals 😛

Apparently you need to be a chemist to mix these things.

How bout that, I can mix regular household items to make explosive fire bombs but I can’t figure out how to mix pheromones.

That’s it I’m changing my signature back to stupid.

I would think that unless you have stronger versions of things that simply measuring in ml what you used in parts would yield a roughly properly blended mix. However, you would need to use the same number of sprays as if they were separate. So far as ensuring dispersion was perfect, you can’t quite be absolutely certain the entire mixture is homogeneous, but a small shake should tend to disperse things properly. I don’t know if pheromones behave similarly in suspension to gases (which spread out evenly as possible) but I rather doubt it so some form of agitation would be required.

If you were to order stronger versions then the formulas become more advanced or if you are trying to exactly fill the target container. i.e. 5ml togo with a total of 10 parts is .5 ml for each part. 5ml with 8 parts is about .6ml, etc.

Yes, you can just mix parts together in a ratio by spray count to get a mix, but then to get one aplication you would have to spray once for every number of equal volume parts in the solution. So if your ratio in your mix was 1:3, to get a normal dose you would have to spray 4 times out of the mix bottle.

Increasing the concentrations is the only way to get the spray count down. In this case, if you wanted to get the 4 sprays down to 1 spray, then you would need 4x base ingredients.

If you are mixing different concentrations such as…you need to make a solution that is 50% pheromoens but you have a 40% A solution and a 70% B solution and your ratio needs to be 1:3 A:B, then the problem becomes MUCH more complicated.

I’m reviving this thread because it has some valuable info.

RBT is correct about using high-concentrations of phero to get the desired amount in each spray.

Speaking with Dancing Joker it has been assimilated that you need concentrations of at least 100 mcg if you want to make mixing easier.

</div>

Okay, boys and girls, this is how it works:

Let’s say we have some pheros A (2.5 mcg/spray), B (2.5) and C (5 mcg/spray). We use 1 spray of phero A and 2 of B and 2 of C. Our actual amounts sprayed are 2.5, 5, and 10 mcg (easy, huh?). We want to make a mix from higher concentrations so we don’t need to spray 5 sprays all the time.

Hang in there’ it’s good, I promise…😛

If we get a regular bottle (30 ml) of pheromones A and B, and the concentration is 12.5 mcg per spray, then at 200 sprays per bottle that gives us 2500 mcg of pheromones in each bottle. That means each ml of liquid contains (2500/30) or 83.33 mcg.

A bottle of pheromone C with 25 mcg/spray has 5000 total, and that’s 166.67 mcg per ml.

Stick with me, it gets better. 😃

We want to make up a full bottle (30 ml) in these ratios. Our total of the parts is 5 (add them together) and 30/5 is 6, so we use:
(30/5) = 6 ml of A
(30/5) x 2 = 12 ml of B
(30/5) x 2 = 12 ml of C
which is the same ratio as above, 1, 2, 2.

Now, we have in our bottle:

6 x 83.33 mcg of A = 499.98 mcg of A (call it 500)
12 x 83.33 mcg of B = 999.96 mcg of B (call it 1000)
12 x 166.66 mcg of C = 2000.04 mcg of C (call it 2000)

Here’s the climax (ooh!)😉

Each spray of the new mix delivers:
500/200 = 2.5 mcg of A
1000/200 = 5 mcg of B
2000/200 = 10 mcg of C

Voila!

If only ONE is scented, then you would get a diminished scent depending on which component it was. If all three were scented the same, the one spray would have the same intensity of scent as one spray of any of the components.

Of course, if you were using the lower original concentrations, then you would need 5 sprays (and get 5 times the scent of one spray). And remember a to-go delivers only 83.3 percent of the regular bottle!

there is a bare bones mix calculator in the spreadsheet - somebody else might want to check/elaborate. (right now it only does regular sprays, not togo).
