At the risk of starting to sound like a broken record, and into the bargain becoming the new people’s No. 1 enemy, I have to say again, USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION!
There is an absolute fount of knowledge and experience on these forums, but you need to be prepared to look for it.
Here for example, TAL is covered in detail:
You have the choice when doing your serach of opting to view either threads or posts, and you can then browse everything at your own leisure, and not ask questions that have already been covered and answered time without number.
Everybody here is very willing to help, but it becomes a tad wearing when we are answering the same questions time after time, so please, use that litle box up to the top right, and you will soon have all the answers you are looking for.
It doesn’t take a great deal of effort on your part to use Search - in fact it takes less time for you to use that wonderful little box, than it would do for you to type out a thread, asking exactly the same thing that users X, Y and Z have already asked and had answered.
I’m not trying to be a grump, but I for one, and I know a few others are too, are getting a bit fed up answering questions that have already been covered in full elsewhere.
When you use Search, you are covering ALL the forums, so you don’t risk missing out on something you may have, if you were simply to trawl individual forums manually.
That is something I see happening a lot, because new people don’t realise if they want answers on TAH and TAL for example, they need primarily to be looking at the women’s forum, whereas if they had used Search in the first place, they would automatically have had every post or thread on TAH or TAL (depending on their search preference) come up for them at once, and could happily work their way through the data.
We all had to start somewhere, and everybody here is VERY helpful, but trust me, you will get far more help if you have actually used Search first. THEN, if you still have further questions, go ahead and make threads such as this.
