The Roger Love book is pretty good - I haven’t got the CD set but that also seems okay. My guess is for most guys the question is really ‘how to meet women’ not where to meet them. At least in a big city, women are everywhere! But not so many of us have the balls to approach a cute girl you don’t know in the street or in a Starbucks. ---

House parties are the only place i get out and meet girls…besides daily at work 🙂 Believe it or not I take advantage of my job to meet girls.. Heres a scenario… me: Alright Michelle, is there any other questions you need answered or anything your not sure about? her: nope, that should be it 🙂 me: alrighty =D - Well here is my card, and here…Ima write my cell on the back so that if you have any questions down the road or just wanna hang out or hit up a party shoot me a text 🙂 - Although i give it out maybe twice a week (gotta right for the right girl, and have it be the right situation and make sure im the only one on the clock) i do get texts back usually a few days later. Great way to pick up quick dates 🙂 - oh by the way, I just put up my now hiring sign today 🙂 ---

Actually from a bit more experience since I made that post, I would say that you are best off on chat sites if you are in a bigger town/metropolitan area rather than a smaller town (of say under 1 million people). If you are in a metropolis of say 3/4 million people then I think it is easier to meet women off chat sites like Yahoo IM and ICQ (just randomly message them). I would go for those sites (where people are not necessarily looking to pick up) rather than straight on dating sites. Less competition IMHO for one and less super choosy women that you can get on those dating sites (who have a long ‘checklist’ of things they want in a man). At any one time in a busy metropolis there are plenty of horny women and those looking for relationships who are on ICQ, Yahoo IM, etc who are on those sites as a social thing. Perhaps things like Facebook and Myspace might work nowadays (get them on MSN messenger so you can reastablish contact whenever you are on). AOL messenger might be good for the US-based crowd. There are some who are around 20 in all those sites. Anyway some things to keep on mind in chatting to women from memory: - be prepared for lots of crap from women and others. Some people feel they can get away with anything online, there will be plenty of flaking, game playing, etc. Just like in real life of course but still you need to work the net (having at least a few targets you might chat to regularly) and learn how to save time on energy destroying ‘time wasting’ obstacles. Cut off ties when you have to if there is no chance of proceeding. - gather info on whether they would meet someone off the net pretty early on so as not to waste time. Some women definitely will not meet no matter how well you get on while others will meet. Getting a phone number at some later stage (making sure it is her one!) is a sign of commitment in my experience that they will meet. - obviously make sure she is not too far away geographically! That’s the first thing to check pretty much aside from making sure you are chatting to a woman lol. - establish how attractive (physically, peronality-wise, etc) the woman is early on and generally screen her on what you like so as not to waste time. Exchange pics, etc. - one strategy is to talk to someone for weeks and say you get on well but she is a little hesitant. You could hold off from contacting her/going on the site for a while to break things up a bit and add to her attraction. You will also come across as less desperate/more busy that way. Let her wait - though this could backfire if she meets someone else of course while you held off. Still I think if you have plenty going of people you are chatting with/going on dates with it shouldn’t be such a hassle. - the cocky and funny approach seemed to work well for me over the net. It can make you quickly look like someone who isn’t just a nice guy ‘desperado geek’ on the net (there are plenty of those I think). - be prepared for things to be not as they seemed when you actually meet with the person you are chatting to in real life. They might be less hot that their picture say. They might be disappointed by you. Obviously things start again with the actual real life in person meeting. - in my experience don’t mention sex too early and certainly not before you establish she is of legal age! Sometimes a girl will just use you for some sex chatting and then not want to meet, other times a girl will cut you off if she thinks you are a sleaze. Still if you want to meet a girl with a definite strong sexual side, you can gather info in other ways being not so direct. For example, you will of course being an alpha male (or portraying one!) not be afraid to talk about your own sexuality and what kind of girl turns you on - see how she reacts, often she will talk about what turns her on in a man, etc. There is no hard and fast rule though some really cool girls actually like to find out if you are good at sex chat and have passion (not that that’s a guarantee if you are good that they will meet you in real life). ---

Ice Skating I always seem to get grabbed when innocently helping someone up that amount of physical contact can be worthwhile, just be sure not to break anything when you fall or try not to fall on her. A nice warm coffee afterwards to get to know each other to finish of. ---
