# whoa... ammo??

Na dont think its just the scent that r repsonsible for the hits as ive worn Nautica colognes before without any pheromone-like hits, …certain scents pair up and gel very well with the scent of Androstenone,…so i could smell both the [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) and scent on me…When wearing Game scented AMMO, all i could smell is the Game scent and no Androstenone…also, hits were typical of androstenone arousal type responses, so nup, if it were just a matter of the scent working, then perhaps all my Akuto hits were “just the scent”? nup

The scent suits the pheromone molecule if A. it does a good job of covering the underlying pheromone funk, B.blends well with the [pheromone scent](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/), complimenting it, rather than over-powering it, and C. has good sillage and diffusion properties. Original “Nautica style” AMMO had all these things. Akuto, while im not too keen on the scent, seems to have great sillage and diffusion…Game? average scent, average diffusion IMO…now theres another pheromone company out there that sells amazing scents, but there pheromones arent very diffusive at all…

I think he tests the range and frequency. Some colognes will obviously give off a better AOE (area of effect) in comparison to others.
