When someone of another race tells me something like, " **Oh you’re such a nice black girl, you’re not like all the others!",** they genuinely think they’re complimenting me but what they’re showing is that they attribute an entire race with bad and praise me for being “an exception.” It’s actually very insulting. Regardless, I don’t have much patience for that kind of thing. I’ve already lost a few friends for thinking because I’m their comrade, they are impervious to racism and can go calling someone that dreaded and oppressive word out of anger. 😮 Thats just rude and ignorant. I would call them out on it. "others… there are others ??? Or say something like… Thanks your a nice (insert race) and only half as ignorant as the others " See this way your still calling them ignorant but they are not quite sure … Snort.

> Oh whoa, I’m not trying to get anything further, I was honestly just confused on if that happened or not. It was.. bizarre! We are pretty close friends, but the whole relationship thing is a sailed boat I’m not waiting for to return.
>
> As for my friend, I admit, his sibling’s conduct has me on my toes. But because he did talk to her and explain how disrespectful she was being, I do appreciate him for that. The girl is an acquaintance so it’s not as if I’m actively trying to hang with her (she’s kind of annoying but that day just put the nail in the coffin. I refuse to associate with her even if she’s my friend’s sibling.)

Yea I didnt see when Tisha already asked you about the IM convo. anyway I see that’s been cleared up

as for your friend and his sister, I guess I find it hard to believe that she would believe such things and not him but hey you know him I guess and yes the whole “you’re an exception” nonsense is very insulting and Im glad you call people out on that..those who dont are the ones who end up being “the black friend” racists bring up as an excuse when they put their foot in their mouths in public

thanks for letting me know..I checked out IS/A on the site and for some reason it doesnt specifically call it IS/A, it does for the full bottle but not the to-go one..so I wanted to be sure

Exactly! They think they’re complimenting me, but they do it by putting down an entire race I’m apart of, talking about it factually as if they’re the Jane Goodall of black people and it’s extremely insulting. People love to make a big deal about my race and it’s really fucking weird. To the point where I could be at a party and some drunk arse dude will just come up to me and have a conversation about my race while doing all he can to show me he’s not a racist. Huh?

Anyway, gone are the days where I would voluntarily be the “Black Friend: Get Out of Racism Free!” card and even then, that is such a cop-out and doesn’t mean shit. Just last year, I had two friends who had feelings for me before, both white. I rejected them both. Politely, of course!

There were no issues or anything, but tell me why I see them both on the same day on Facebook calling some shit rapper (Soulja Boy, if I remember? My god, that guy is ATROCIOUS!) the n word and other racial slurs pertaining to black people. I immediately called them both out on their status saying they’re both being extremely offensive and why the hell are they using racial slurs for that asshole rapper. One deleted my comment, the other tried to defend the use of such slurs! I reposted my comment on the first one and told the other off that if he has such feelings against blacks, I will not disrespect myself by continuing our friendship. I also told this to the first one and removed them off facebook and kicked them out of my life. The first one began calling me obsessively and the other one for awhile kept trying to talk to me although all I would do was give him a raised eyebrow and stare silently.

The second one now spends his days trying to befriend my female black friends by overcompensating how he’s not a racist. Bwahahaha! Sorry, dearie. The alarm has already been rung.

Anyway, it’s so weird how people will give that kind of treatment when they usually don’t receive it back. Like that girl last week was just completely stuck on my race yet I didn’t mention a thing about her race because I didn’t care. Not her. She was like the energizer bunny of race, oh my god! I’m still shocked at her orangutan comment. But even though this treatment can get extremely annoying, I pride myself on not going down to such levels.

You will never see me point to a plate of saltine crackers and tell a white friend, “Look, it’s your family!” or a bowl of rice and tell an Asian friend, “Look, your people!” I don’t do such rudeness to comrades because I respect them. Even if they weren’t friends, I don’t have it in me to behave so tastelessly because _I_ don’t like it myself.

I only want that same respect _reciprocated_.

Cant believe you know anyone who would make such comments. I cant imagine anyone having the guts to even making such “jokes” around me. I really dont play like that

why are you newly single? what happened? Better get your pheros on!

I decided to break up with my boyfriend due to internal conflicts and our paths being far too different. I also prefer our friendship. I’m pretty sad, but I know I’ll heal.

Until then, I’m not going to care much for pheros. My social experiments will be put on hold until I feel I’m back to my old cheery self. I think I’ll be back in no time. ^^

I look at the world only one way. There is only one race and its called human. I love everybody equally until I am given a reason not to. That usually doesn’t happen either.

Be happy 🙂

Mini update, everyone!

On Saturday, my friends and I joined a really fun anime beach party and had tons of fun. My friend and I were acting silly as always and it was just an awesome day for everyone all around.

Later that night after the beach party ended, we all went to a friend’s house to go swimming. I did consume alcohol and got a tad drunk. ^^; I was rambling on a bunch of subjects and one of them was how I care for all of my friends. So I was gushing to each friend how I care for them and when I got to my particular friend, I told him that I’m happy with our friendship despite us not ending up together, I hold no qualms, I have always wished him well and basically I care for him as a friend. Lots of “awww’s” from our friends, hehe. But he seemed.. disappointed, which is surprising.

Normally, one would react to such words of kindness with appreciation or gratitude, right? You know that false smile people will sometimes put on to hide a negative emotion? He had it all over his face and replied, “You’ve thought a lot about this, haven’t you?” in a sort of low tone with what sounded like hint of sadness. From then on he grew seriously quiet and kept to himself the rest of the night. Eventually, he left the jacuzzi and went inside to lay down.

When I was drunk, I didn’t really notice the effect my words of well-meaning gave him. But when I remember it and think about it, I feel kinda bad.

I’m still pretty sad about my breakup. I’ve been getting not so nice texts and voicemails from the ex so I’ve had my phone off since Saturday night. :\

I’m actually not in the least bit surprised 😮😃

However nice and undoubtedly well-intentioned you meant to be, from a guy’s point of view, - you pretty much ripped his balls off and handed them to him, in public!

> Well yesterday, I went on an excursion with a large group of friends. I wore two drops of my pink sugar sample vial that contained Eow on my wrist and wore three concentrated drops- one drop on each side under my ear and one in the middle of my clavicles. I wore two drops of Cleo. One spray of Instant Sexiness A and two sprays of TAH.
>
> I think I used quite a lot without even realizing it.
>
> Anyway, I definitely had hits galore. I was feeling confident too. 🆒 I remember I was walking alone to get a drink and this janitor kept saying hi to me and giving me this cheesy wink while looking up and down, which I really don’t care for so I’d politely say hi back and keep walking.
>
> Another would be an acquaintance who seems to acknowledge me on and off. I don’t know him well, or like him in that manner, but I just notice sometimes he’s all over getting to know me in one meeting and doesn’t even look at me in another meeting. I can’t say I care, I don’t know him well at all. XD Well yesterday, he could not stop staring and smiling at me. He’d sneak me compliments or try to chat me up while being more.. respectful. Cool~
>
> All the other hits were mainly stares and smiles. We all went to a housewarming party of a friend’s later and there, multiple friends that I knew were then being a lot more flirty and chatty with me. I kept it nicely and friendly of course. ^^
>
> Now here’s the meat of the story and where things take a huuuuuge turn. I have a particular friend who I don’t exactly see often, but when we see each other, we are close. I used to like him, and he supposedly liked me back but it wasn’t in the serious sense that I had for him. He’s a nice guy, but he always likes somebody and then they date for a month and he breaks up. Apparently, he didn’t like me enough to even date me. He had a really superficial race complex at the time too. Sucked and all, and through all of the awkwardness and on and off friendship, I got over him and finally moved on to my lovely current boyfriend. \<3
>
> This friend and I are still friends and we’re still close when we meet. Nearly every time we’re together, we may play-fight, tickle, get competitive, share funny things or awesome music, and he always ends up turning into a giant puppy and lays in my lap while I scratch his scalp and play with his dreadlocks and rub and gently scratch his back. Usually when I do this, it calms him down greatly and he either turns into a big cuddle baby or sleeps. It’s pretty cute. Friends in general enjoy when I massage their scalp or their back. Anyway, this is how things usually go.
>
> Not but last night.. nope.. This time, when he was laying on my lap and I was gently rubbing and scratching his back and playing with his dreads, it was different.
>
> **First** , I noticed he would squirm a bit. Hm, maybe he’s trying to shift because he was uncomfortable! Nope. The small squirming continued.
>
> **Second** , my lap became a lot warmer. He was breathing onto my lap. Hm, maybe my lap is obstructing him! I’ll shift a little. Nope. His entire head was warmer and he was breathing into my lap.
>
> **Third** , now he’s breathing audibly louder! Holy shit, what? Is he okay? I ask him and he quickly nods and says yes in a more airy than usual voice.
>
> **Fourth** , get ready, he begins making tiny sounds. At this point, I can’t lie to myself, I know something is up. Then it happens, HE LETS OUT A MOAN. AND MORE MOANS. _OHHHHH MYYYYY GODDDDDD!!_ And as if his tiny moans and groans aren’t shocking enough, in one moan, he mumbled “I love you” but I don’t think he realized it.
>
> I had to stop there. I asked him again, “are you okay..?” my eyes wide open with confusion (and slight amusement) and he tells me yes. But then I ask,
>
> Me: Are you…? _Starts doing random hand movements_
> Him: What?
> Me: You know..!
> Him: Huh?
> Me: AROUSED! Are you aroused?! You’re giving all the signs of arousal and all I’m doing is rubbing your back and playing with your hair like I’ve always done for our entire friendship. You have never reacted like this before..! O\_\_O
> Him: Yes.. I don’t know why I’m suddenly so sensitive.
>
> I didn’t bring him up saying he loves me because one, I am taken and I either love or leave and two, our friendship has already gone through enough awkwardness and me being over him has enabled our friendship to be in a great place. I don’t want to endanger that (although this is awkward as hell on its own.) Not only that, I think that was just him speaking mumbo jumbo because of the state he was in from me caressing him.
>
> The way he was squirming, he truly was being pleasured without actually being pleasured and that just shocked me. It’s as if his entire body turned to an erogenous zone. I never expected to even witness anything like this in my entire life. I’m still so shocked about it all. I haven’t spoken to him about his sudden erogenous sensitivity. I find this both weird and interesting but I don’t have any desire to delve into this. .\_.;
>
> When people say copulins have the best effect on those who know you, they weren’t lying..
>
> After everything “calmed down,” I noticed, he would periodically give me the most intense stare. Not directly, he clearly didn’t want me to notice. I remember in his car, I felt like I was being stared at but he was facing forward. So I look up at the rearview mirror, and sure enough, his Scorpio eyes are giving me the most intense stare. It was almost like a glare without being a glare. It was really intense. He wouldn’t take his eyes away too when I looked at him. Man..
>
> Let’s see, other than that, I noticed my temperament was shorter. My friend’s younger sibling was constantly making rude and stereotypical jokes and comments towards me because I am black. It was really annoying and made her look ridiculous. We even saw a mural of an orangutan and she got so rude, she had the audacity to say it was my relative and I immediately expressed offense at her “joke.” That must have been the IS/A at work because I was not taking crap that day! I though my two sprays of TAH would chill me out! XD
