Why is it that there seems to be a heck of alot more men on the forum than females? There are loads more posts in the men’s pheromone advice section, and there’s always more people viewing than in the womens… 😕

It can’t be that old “sex sells” crap reason can it?.. “men think always want sex” and “[pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) = more sex”

I just don’t buy that! Women like and want sex too!!! (Well I know I do 🙄)
So why isn’t there more of us here huh???

One thing I’ve noticed from reading these forums is that most women who come here are already in established relationships and are looking for a way to enhance them a little. Once they’ve done that, it’s job done.

Men who come here are mostly on the hunt. Typically, we’re not looking to enhance an existing relationship; we’re here to add more weapons to our arsenals, swap tips and strategies on the dating and mating game, as well as exchanging details of [pheromone](https://a314.com/) mixes that work and troubleshoot the ones that don’t.

Statistically more women buy mones then men do.

They also have more hang ups about talking about sex in the open. While this is a mone forum its also sexually charged. I no we have alot of female lukers watching us from the sidelines. 😉

I just read in another thread that Jasmin said there are 12,000 active members on this forum. I thought it was much smaller than that, it was quite a suprise. There must be many lurkers of both sexes watching from the sidelines. I feel less comfortable posting in my journal now knowing how public the forum is.

I think Xiphoid is right. The majority of woman here seem to be married or in a relationship the men not so much. I can totally believe that more woman [buy pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) than men though.

</div>

Certainly most of the women posting are in relationships, that seems to ring true.

You mention pheromones to anyone who hasn’t been in here, what do they think?

SEX

OK, going to generalise now.

Single men want sex, then a relationship, single women want a relationship, then sex.

Married men want more sex, the sensible ones use pheros to try to improve the relationship in the hope that more sex will come.

Married women want to improve what they already have.

Me, I’m currently a married man and don’t know what I want! The people who are important to me right now know what I would like 😉

Now, before I get shot down in flames, I reiterate, it is a generalisation.

Oh, and Xiphoid, there is no way you could ever be described as a bloke without a penis 🙄

</div>

You could also generalise and say that men in relationships become too comfortable where as woman are always trying to improve there situation. It’s also true that many men outside of relationships don’t make any effort to be there best selves but woman are always trying to be the best they can. Hence how long it can take some of them to get ready. It’s this reason why it wouldn’t surprise me that more woman [buy pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) than men.

I also have to wonder if it really is a culture and conditioning thing. As much as we like to think to the contrary, here in the U.S. we are a lot more uptight than the Europeans when it comes to talking about sex. Especially the women! I know that my girlfriends get all embarrassed when the topic comes up! As young girls most women were taught that sex was bad and that you did not do it until you were married and you NEVER talked about it! Lest you get labeled a “tramp” or a “slut”. And there is a popular misconception among women that men prefer a woman who is coy. What I am discovering though is that men REALLY love a woman who knows what she wants in and out of the bedroom!

Yes, I am in a relationship and am always looking for ways to improve things. My initial problem wasn’t sexual in nature it was a social dilemma but I am reaping some REALLY great benefits from my research!

I totally agree, I think it’s partially cultural too, but also probably education as well. I noticed when I lived in the states that my female friends knew shockingly little about their own bodies, reproduction (and how to avoid it) and STD’s…at least compared to my mates across the pond. I knew the difference between the different types of pills, the coil, condoms, pessaries etc when I was 13 because of the sex education we get in school. To me that makes sense teaching the kids about the birds & the bee’s before they actually become sexually active…how else are they going to be able to make iinformed decisions about when to do it and how to protect themselves?

It’s funny because I never thought about it until we recently went on vacation. The European women just seemed so natural and comfortable in their own skin. Especially at the beaches (which were topless and or nude).

Sex education in the schools is a hot button topic over here and it’s such a shame. As a parent I try to always be open and honest with my children and give them age appropriate answers to their questions always reminding them that they should keep our conversations between us. I’m always afraid I’ll get “That” phone call from another parent. LOL! But, I want them to know that they can come to me with anything they need to ask and I will do my best to get them the information they need. My mother never did that for us growing up!

Really?! This is the first time I’ve seen that stated - I thought Jasmin and Michael had said that men far outspend women on pheros, and that was why fewer products were being developed for women.

If you look beyond Androtics, there seem to be many more products marketed to men. If women bought more, wouldn’t the opposite be true?

i think women may buy more pheros but report less. i think it’s because women sometimes take feedbacks a little too seriously and dont want to get burned.

i have, not here but at some other forum, got burned for reporting on copulins and have stopped reporting there since. good thing androtics people are all very friendly 🙂

either way, women tend to be a little more secretive about phero usage also.

just a thought 🙂

Aww, Remmy, you shouldn’t let other people’s issues keep you from reporting. I know what you’re talking about, and to be honest I have seen that same “I know so much more than _you_” attitude here as well (it’s subtle, not pervasive, and not from a lot of people, don’t get me wrong) but it doesn’t stop me. I think you are right, though, in that some women are **so much more** competitive with each other than men are, that a lot of women are reluctant to put themselves out there for fear of being focused in on by that type.

They’re everywhere, there’s no getting away from it, so just do your thing. 🙂

Not convinced that women outspend men on pheromones. But I think there is as many women user compare to men user. Maybe the intention is diferent.

As Diamond said, men are generally more to sex. Some are more to relationship.
Women could be more to attractiveness, seduction and relationship.

I do believe women are more conservative in reporting. That’s why more reports from men than from women.
