My apologies for the following newbie query.

I understand that (alcohol based, spray) colognes are ok to layer with spray based pheros but not oil based pheros- is this correct?

Presumably then, what is “wrong” with layering an oil based phero with cologne (spray, alcohol based), does it merely speed up diffusion?

Thank you.

Yes it will speed up diffusion, kinda defeats the object of using an oil, I tend to spray cologne on first, let it dry down and then layer oil on top.

Applying an oil on top also affects diffusion - greatly slowing it if its a spray phero below. To the point where its only really viable in an exceptionally hot/humid environment.

And where colognes are involved, some scents will carry through better than others, again influencing diffusion to quite a degree.

If its an unscented oil, scenting it and using lotion to barrier the skin is still the better option.
