Yup… they call that being “mindful”. It is a good thing to practice gratitude every day in every way you can. That way when things don’t go as planned, you can still see, latch onto, and experience the good in the event or situation.

The difference is whether you _are_ more confident or _pretend to be_ more confident. Unless you are a very skilled actor, pretending to be anything in person sets up a hell of a discord note in the observer.

Eighty five percent of all communication is non-verbal, and although most people won’t know exactly what is wrong, they will know _something_ is not right when you pretend.

Practicing mindfulness gives you the ability to trust that no matter what happens, you will come out the other side more experienced and more confident… really.

I think Garamon thanks me more than Lor.

Garamon added me to his/her friend’s list because I asked him/her to do so after seeing so many thank yous from him/her. It was probably the same for Lor.

There are almost 10,000 members on this forum. Not everyone posts.

I think you are being a bit paranoid. Personally, I think Garamon is Mike Harris. 😃

I cant respond to this without taking a moment to pull our focus into the negatives again. I am sorry for doing that but like I said there cant be light without the dark.

> [@](#):
>
> You’re minimizing his negative reaction, pretending it’s unimportant

No I am not minimizing his negative reaction nor am I minimizing your negative reaction to his first post. Before you say you were not negative let me remind you that Influence and manipulating positive and negative energy is what I do. Its part of who I am and I understand it very well. Its not always what we say it how we say it and that is what this post is about.

You didn’t say anything bad to him per say… but you focused only on the negatives of what he was saying and in doing so you attracted a negative response. Negative energy attracts negative energy and it builds. To influence a person you need to be aware of that negative energy. I did not “ignore” it, I choose to not give that negative energy power by using my own positive energy to change his focus.

Giving advice is great and I respect everyone who reaches out to help someone by doing so. But if you want that advice to actually influence the person positively then you have to focus on the positive of the situation and feed that. Give that energy the power.

In the end if you really think about it it go’s back to what he was originally trying to say. Just telling someone be one way or just do something without giving the positive energy or tools to do so is not influencing them to take action

Fueling that energy by focusing only on the negatives of what they have said or feel is not fueling them to action either. In fact it will just focus them more on the negative. Even though I have been taught all my life to manipulate energy in many forms I have the days when I have to fight off the negative to

> [@](#):

If they knew he would lash out at them in a negative way, it might well have affected their response. He called their advice downright ridiculous, that’s some chip to have over advice.

> [@](#):
>
> To me, this topic is bigger than whether advice from someone is good or bad, its how people behave and respond to that advice. There’s just as much, if not more to be learned from that. Including what has been going on in this thread.

I tend to agree but I take it one step further. Its not only how he responds to the advice its how we respond to the reaction of that person when the advice is given that teaches us something.

> [@](#):
>
> You’re minimizing his negative reaction, pretending it’s unimportant (and its not important to me personally, FYI), but I keep returning to the reaction

Because it is unimportant to the subject. I am not pretending its not there I am just not going to give it power. Coming back to it gives it power. As you said yourself “you keep going back to that reaction” and now that negative energy has power over you and your responses.

> [@](#):
>
> i believe i have the ability to screw up, and hope that i would be given another chance to fix my mistake, assuming i thought it was a mistake.

We all do, I know I do. It go’s back to what I am saying above to. We make mistakes and misjudgements sometimes and usually it has a negative effect somehow when we do so. When we realize this we may or may not try to correct that by using our positive energy to fix it but that only works if those who felt the negative choose to focus on that positive. Learning to influence that focus comes with practice though.

The forum is set up in such a way that you can not open 2 forum accounts. If its attempted we are flagged and can easily find out who it is. There are instances with married couples and people living in the same household that have gotten special permission such as our favorite brother duo Asset and Bond007. Certain college users run into trouble and Steve has to look it up and clear it. Keep in mind they give free $25 GC’s in here and there are people who unfortunately try to take advantage of that. This is just one of the reasons we pay close attention to it.

I will not say where Garamon comes from that would be a breach of privacy but I can assure any one who may feel this way, that Lor and Garamon are two members living on opposites sides of the earth. They are not the same person.

Thanks for backing me up. I made a mistake, but at that time, the response seemed so negative and hostile, it felt like a personal attack. It’s interesting how a single mouse click can send a thread spinning out of control. If you’re already super-confident (which is a good thing), you’ll think that it’s all about the mind; but there were people who still agreed with me. So the “good experience” aspect of confidence gotta have some merit to it.

For the love of god, that’s what I’ve been trying to say in the first place, before this thread grew 12 pages long. Some people either completely missed the message, even after I explained things, or chose to attack a view that doesn’t agree with them, not realizing that their view isn’t the only one.

I think Tisha phrased it nicely. Robbie, if you want to neg rep me back, be my guest. Maybe that’ll balance the equation, and we can all go on with our lives. Then again, I already did.

OK all conspiracy theorists please report to my office for a spanking immediately, unless you are a guy, then go see Tisha23 🙂.

I have received PM’s now asking me who Garamon is? Here is my answer: Sorry it’s none of your business!

This is an open honest forum and the members here are open honest people. While we enjoy the privacy and a certain anonymity the Internet provides we have members openly exchanging emails, phone numbers, addresses, photos and what not. This is a community based on honesty and trust in one another.

I have read threads about who is negging who (the mysterious neg repper) and now there are complaints about who is thanking who? Come on! Get over it and if you can’t, well then I kindly ask you to leave our vibe positive, respect us all for who we are and appreciate us for being a kind caring community.

In a way this is going to sound as if its coming across as “tough love” at Robbie, but I also understand there are factions behind this. It seems like there are always factions attaching themselves to anything in a veiled attempt to corrupt the very core philosophy of making the world a better place. That very core value comes from the incredible members of this forum. It is befuddling to me to even grasp the concept how thanking members now is being distorted as some type of evil manipulation.

I have bent too many times in my life to those accusing, and corrupting others of wrongdoing, but interestingly enough; they use the very tactics they claim to be against. We all know those kind of people in our lives. They manipulate and bend the truth to fit their twisted views of their reality. This is not the core values of the users of this forum and I do not accept those type of cancerous delusions.

Again though, I will not take sides in this thread as I posted previously.

We are all unique snowflakes, but remember it takes a miracle of perfect conditions for snow to fall. No two snowflakes are the same, and yet we are all the very same when we melt away in the sun. The difference is the impact we have on others. The memories we leave behind are created by our actions today. 😛

With that said I will tell you this: Lor is a valued, loved member of this forum. She has been on here for a LOOOOONG time and I personally used every means possible to return her to posting. IMO Lor is not always right, but for the longest time Lor had the second highest rep on the forums and had the highest post count on the forum. You don’t get that by not being trusted and loved by members. If garamon wants to continue to thank Lor for her posts than so be it.

Do I know who garamon is? Yup, spoke on the phone with them the other day for couple of hours. Will you ever know? I leave that up to garamon and personally if it was me I’d leave you guessing.

So with that said I am officially telling you all to cut it out. Life is happy, spring is in the air, the weather is gorgeous, there are hotties everywhere and I have some mones to report on. Lets remember this is a forum to report on pheromones and there effect on ourselves and others. Be happy, celebrate life and for goodness sake celebrate others appreciating your posts enough to thank you.

>

>

The question is: “Can I confidently pretend to be a conspiracy theorist?” 😃

“We have all been very, very naughty and you must spank us!” 😛
