hi i was wondering if [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) affect children. the reason i’m asking this question, is because i have a 6 year old little girl and iwas wondering if i put on the pheromones to go out or to go to school (i’m in college) and i pick her up from the day care or school before i go home to wash it off, will it mess with her head or anything? the product i ordered is ammo and i got shine as a gift. should i only spry it outside the house.what about the sent that will be left behind in the car. what procautions should i take if any need to be taken? thanks to any who replies ---

Hello and welcome! Mones do indeed affect children. With the added androstenone in ammo she might find you a bit intimidating. It will not cause any attraction. I do not think you will need to wash it off when around her, but certainly wear mones in moderation. It all comes down to what you find works. If you find that wearing a certain mone around her causes adverse effects, consider not wearing, or limiting the amount of that mone in the future. ---

my children are okay with all the pheromones _in moderation._ high doses make them tired or extremely edgy, like you gave them a double latte. IFM bothered my youngest (4 yrs at the time. _not good_.) most of the mixes are very positive in nature. 🙂 ---

I don’t think it will affect children if you use it moderately. Your children know your pheromone signature. They will still be able to know you even you are on pheromones. ---

I have two kids, aged 8 and 4, there are potential issues with newborn babies if mum wears pheromones ( bonding issues) that have been well discussed. I can’t see any issues with a 6 year old, the only downside I’ve found is that my kids will not be quiet if I wear [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/) around them but then, that is what that product is designed to do. ammo and shine, if it does have any effect on her (which I very much doubt), it will be to make daddy the best daddy in the world ( but then, you are already, aren’t you!😉) ---

Hello and welcome. This is really more a question for the mens forum so maybe Tisha will move it over there for us when she gets a break from her appointed rounds. But as people mentioned you should be fine with the pheros. I wear [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) around my kids - slightly older than yours - but have never had trouble. Like Diamond mentioned - with IShine your little girl may talk your ear off in the car. One of the Moms here does that with her older teen kids in the car to get them to brighten up and talk so she knows what is going on with them … lol. ---

Thats quite alright I moved it down here for you. 😉 Kids do sense a change because children bond more so pheromonally then adults but it wont cause adverse effects. Once they see your still you they quickly adjust and usually react very well to them. The only one I would be more careful with is TUTH. This one can come on strong and make them uneasy. Tisha ---

Just like adults dont mesh with certain products when they are exposed to them sometimes kids dont. TUTH and RP the only ones they give a actual warning about around kids or about using in the appropriate venues. For the most part mones and kids go fine together as long as they don’t wear them of course. I dont want to cause undue fear where there should be none. We have had a lot of that this week between rashes and smell issues and this is when you can see tha placebo effect in action. Mones are not a one size fits all product. Wearing a mone that causes aggitation to another person adult or child can occur but would not cause permanant emotional damage. You can use them around kids and if you see something adverse make note of it and dont use it around them anymore. Tisha ---
