This thread isn’t directly related to [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) but I think that some folks could benefit from it and I want to hear what others think too.

Being in army rotc, I work out an awful lot during the year because it’s mandatory. During the summer, I tend to work out even more because I can do what I want and it just makes me feel good. Today I made this point clear as day. I have been away from the gym for about a week and a half because I stepped on a lego (of all things) at my cousins house. Now for any of you who have legos, you know what I’m talking about, for those of you who don’t, they are as sharp as broken glass, remember that… Anyways, I was ready for some cardio so I got my flabby butt over to the gym. My hardline cardio routines run about 85-90% max heartrate for around 45 minutes or until I feel like I’m going to pass out. After this workout today, I felt like I had 10 sprays of instant shine on. I was less jittery and emotional, and I felt like I could take on the world, in a few hours…

The key here is that exercise makes a world of difference in body and mind. It really is like a lot of ISHINE and some AMMO. I even workout before most dates because I like what it does to me and my personality. I am confident, sharp, and ready for anything. The reasoning for this is an increase in testosterone, which leads me to my next point.

Doing a lot of working out, you come to realize that there are products that help with recovery, performance, and even gains. One of the more common of these is T-Boosters which increase Testosterone levels, hence the T. This is not an advert for working out so I won’t get into those effects. One thing that I have tested out, though, is the improvement on my mood. When I take a T-booster on a non-workout day, it’s kinda like the self effects of ammo: more confident, more aggressive (in a good way, not all RARRHGGH), more assertive. It really helps bring up the guy in you. I’m not saying that you should take a T-Booster to pick up chicks, but it is a pharmaceutical method of getting your mood in shape and doesn’t wear out after a few hours. Something to look into? On workout days, it all gets put into the exercise, but the exercise alone produces more T which keeps the level up long after working out.

So, exercise and attitudes, any other thoughts?

Excersising releases chemicals in your body that make you feel good. Pheromones are naturally formed from testosterone and in essence gives us the feelings that natural pheromones get.

Speaking of Army ROTC, have you picked out what you’re going to do yet?

I love working out and playing sports as well. I don’t know much of the science of how it affects your brain but I know it makes me feel great. Definitely a confidence booster, especially when you take off your shirt and get compliments and looks.

Special Forces, nice. Do you plan on going through OCS? I hear it can be pretty hard to become a SF officer.

He’s in ROTC already.

He’ll be commissioned as a 2LT once he graduates.

I’m guessing you’re going for rangers and jump wings while you’re at it right?

Next summer, if I’m not taking classes. I already have jump wings through a usaf program but I’m not sure exactly how those mesh with the army requirements. I hope to get through airborne, air assault, and mountain ranger courses before I graduate. Either that or when I’m active, I have a couple connections through the unit here who say that they might be able to pull strings. I know that there’s a scuba option too, but there is only one regional slot available each year…

Nice. I don’t know if that USAF program would count. Was it at Benning? I have a buddy who just finished USAF PJ training and even they get jump certified through the Army’s jump school at Benning. Hopefully they accept the jump wings you already have though. Good luck with everything.

I wanted to go 75th but they wouldn’t guarantee RASP in my contract even after waiting for months so I told them to shove it. I think I probably had the most incompetent recruiting company in the country though.

If I could turn back the clock, I woulda accepted that ROTC scholarship. You’ll enjoy it though, should be interesting and lots of fun.

They pay well too! 😃

The cadet scholarship and other pay makes college grand! I can do pretty much whatever I want without having to hold down a job. All it took me was two more years added on my contract too. I know what you mean with the recruiting/retention personnel, they either make it or break it 😃
