I started off using the unscented mutant whitecap a314. Since then I have acquired and used one of the scented versions. I have to say that I like the unscented mutant version better. It gives me a chance to tailor my own scent if I want to use some cologne, or to go scentless if the situation warrants. Many “guy” situations like sports, hiking, outdoor persuits in general, don’t really fit with some cologne scents. A scentless version still enables the wearing of [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) without a situation-inappropriate additional scent. Androtics has reported difficulties offering unscented products to the general public before, because a lot of people will buy them, not like the smell of the pheromones, and then try to return them. Apparently this can happen even if the product was purchased with the understanding that it couldn’t be returned. I still have a couple of bottles of mutant whitecap, and I think I can come pretty close to the major components of a314 from bare ingredients, so I’m not in danger of running out of an unscented version anytime soon. This poll is to explore the commercial possibilities of an unscented version of a314. If enough people are interested Androtics might think it worthwhile to whip up a special batch of unscented. ---

I would like to see an unscented version of A314. Oil based products have more controlled diffusion anyway and I have seen very good results with both mutant and regular unscented versions. ---

I don’t know about the newer versions of A314, but the scent of my old version is very discrete and I guess 90% of all people won’t smell it after some minutes of dry-down. So for me there’s no real need for an unscented A314. ---

There was a poll and long thread about scentless products a couple months ago. Seems there was a large minority that wanted scentless but most didn’t seem to care one way or the other. I for one would buy scentless over scented as I don’t care for the “new age earth daddy” smell of A314. Androtics does leave that door open with custom orders, but you pay extra and wait a long time. ---

I “THOUGHT” the orginal A314 was as unscented as it could get. Am I wrong here? :o ---

It smells strongly scent of herbal EOs. Sorta like visting a headshop or witch supply house. Not the kinda scent you want for business use. ---

I think there are a few different batches out there that smell different. Mine is very mildly scented with Royal Oil - containing fine & gorgeous things like musk, ambergris, maybe some attars. You only smell it if you get pretty close, though. I smell the pheromones more than the added scent, so the overall impression is pretty much middle-aged guy (with expensive tastes, lol!) I really like the smell of what I have, so I wouldn’t _prefer_ a scentless version, but I think there’d be a place for it if you couldn’t get the one I have! ---

On the “custom addition” page at the SmartMones store you have the option of choosing scentless versions of the alcohol-based consumer products, but not a314. I had assumed that this was because of the greater difficulty of mixing a small amount of an oil-based product. Perhaps I assumed too much if the scentless a314 is indeed already available as a custom order. ---

I think you can custom order anything reasonable, but will have to phone it in. It’s mainly a matter of time and money. Probably a 30ml or larger bottle is the way to go. The unmentionable place is claiming to make a A314 clone as well many other favs. ---

i prefer scentless with any mone product since it’s just so damn flexible to be able to choose my favorite cover scent. the old A314 batch that was sold on LS had an ok ylang ylang scent. the new batch has this flowery essential oil scent that smells quite feminine, definitely not a good match for respectability on men… ☹ ---

Maybe the weather but here noone can even smell it from far, and when I ask them to come close to my skin to give me their opinion about the smell, noone has told me it is bad… i may have asked 30 people at least, 20-25 women. ---

I am always trying to get [unscented Pheromones](https://a314.com/product-category/stealth-unfragranced/) because you never know what it smells like 😉 I prefer to cover Pheromones with Perfumes. ---

I would definitely be interested in buying a scentless version of A314. I think that the scented oil from the scented A314 smells so bad. I think androtics could make that product so much better if it were unscented. ---
