I am reading alot about your bodies natural pheros and I also have been experimenting with eating lots of celery.

I read that you should shower only with hot water(I have done cold showers lately), no soap, no shampoo, regular deodorant not antiperspirant.

Shower once a day? lol I like showers, anyone got advice for getting the best results?

There is a fairly recent thread/series of posts from someone who did just that a few months back - he was running into problems and minging pretty quickly TBH.

However, it is the case that too much washing and your choice of cosmetic products can impact on both your own and any added pheros quite significantly **but** a good personal care routine is essential to get the best out of both.

Personally, regular light washing and good rinsing with a basic but good quality soap and shampoo, then a crystal deodorant and a good quality cologne for scent **and little else** seems to work best for me.I also barrier oil app points with a quality light hand lotion to help control bacterial degradation on the skin.

Avoid anything with antibacterials - Most notably Triclosan (almost all gels, aerosols and many cheap cosmetic products) but there are others because they destroy pheros very effectively or “skin conditioners” and anything else that might trap pheros/hamper diffusion on the skin/hair.

If you are reasonably active, your ntural sig soon recovers and any added pheros are kept most effective.

Also, about once a week, I will have a good long soak in the bath wash/clean-up with something more phero-destroying, just to get rid of any resudue/buildup and to avoid complicating matters if I’m planning on a radical change in phero sig.

One of the old timers from here Nbully did many no soap shower [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) experiments about 5 years ago. I think he did a 12 week run and an 8 week run. They can be found on his blog `http://smellscent.blogspot.com/`
